There will be 16 teams battling it out on the field, and any out of those 16 has a chance to win it all. Of course, there are favourites, but Rocket League is a game where the underdogs can and have caused serious damage. Without further ado, let us go over the basics of the RLCS Fall Major.

Teams

There are 16 teams in total, coming in from North America, South America, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East and North Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

North America

  • FaZe Clan
  • SpaceStation Gaming
  • G2 eSports
  • Version1
  • Gen.G Mobil1 Racing

South America

First place earns 32 RLCS Circuit Ranking Points, second gets 24, third will gain 18, and so on.

Format and Schedule

The RLCS Fall Major will begin with a 16-team Swiss stage. If a team manages to acquire three wins, they move onto the next stage. Subsequently, if you lose three times, you will be sent home packing.

The first-round matches of the RLCS Fall Major are:

SpaceStation Gaming VS Team Falcons

Team Liquid VS Team Secret

Gen.G VS PWR

FaZe Clan VS Moist Esports

Oxygen Esports VS G2 Esports

Version1 VS Quadrant

The Club VS Pioneers

Karmine Corp VS James Cheese

You can watch the direct live-stream from Rocket League’s official Twitch channel, as well as their YouTube channel.

But wait, there is more. If you want to catch their streams in a language other than English, you are in luck. You will be able to watch it in Portuguese, French, Spanish, and Dutch.

Teams to Keep An Eye On

Karmine Corp is easily one of the favourites here, and we are not surprised at all. After grabbing that 5th-8th spot in the World Championship, they continued playing extremely well, even winning a regional and being finalists in others. They have also added Axel “vatira” Touret to their squad, who played amazingly for Moist eSports last season.

Gen.G Mobil1 Racing can also be considered one of the favourites in this tournament. They have also been in the finals for all regionals, winning one of three, just like Karmine Corp. Their first game will be against PWG and we can’t wait to see how they fare against one another.

The last team we will mention were the finalists at the Spring Major, and that is the incredible Team Falcons. Europe and North America have the best teams and are the strongest, but Falcons are the sole representative from the Middle East and North Africa region. They have proven time and time again that they can go against anybody, and not only stand their ground, but also beat whoever it is on the other side.

But alas, like we have already said up above, each and any one of these 16 teams can win it all. We are talking about no less than 16 of the best teams in the world after all. Moist, G2, Liquid, FaZe, Version1, and so on, all have a chance, and that is what makes this RLCS Fall Major so exciting.

Hold on to your seats because this one is going to be a doozy. Whether you will be watching online or in person, there is no denying that a thrilling couple of days await us. We are definitely excited, and we know you are too, so stay right here with us for updates and results!
