Rogue Announces a New Fortnite Mentor Program, Junior Rogue

Amanda Zelauskas

Rogue announced that they will be launching a new program, Junior Rogue, which is focused on mentoring and educating young Fortnite players. The Junior Rogue program would be a perfect fit for younger adults who are interested in pursuing a career in streaming, competitive gaming, or gaming in general.

Any Fortnite player under the age of 18 can apply for the program, and the first semester begins on October 8.

Any Fortnite player under the age of 18 can apply for the program, and the first semester begins on October 8. The program will run through online seminars that will teach students about the inner-workings of the esports industry. Program participants will be able to receive professional training from professional Fortnite players like Rogue’s own Ben “DrLupo” Lupo.

“The goal of the program is to teach these players about lifestyles and careers in esports and gaming, so they can learn from real-life stories from people in the industry. Not everyone is going to be the next DrLupo or Ninja. We want to help prepare them for their futures both inside and outside the game.”- Amish Shah, founder of ReKTGlobal and co-owner of Rogue.

All participants will receive a $500 scholarship, travel stipends for events, Junior Rogue official merchandise, and graphic packages to help assist players in growing their personal brands. Junior Rogue created the program in partnership with Find Your Grind, a foundation that assists young players in growing and expanding within the relatively young esports industry.
