The third and final qualifier for Gonna Need Milk’s The Milk Cup is set to take place on Thursday, July 25th, and will determine the final 11 Fortnite teams that will duke it out at the LAN finals scheduled for Fall this year.
For the uninitiated, the Milk Cup is an American Fortnite Battle Royale tournament, featuring female gamers 13 years old and above, playing the standard trio build mode. The tournament is organized jointly between Gonna Need Milk, broadcast platform Raidiant, tournament organizer Women of the eRena, and renowned Fortnite player/content creator ThePeachCobbler. According to the press release from Gonna Need Milk, the Milk Cup has thus far seen around 800 girls and women sign up for the third qualifier.
This year is for the LADIES ⭐️

The event itself is composed of three separate qualifier stages, each of which pays $25,000 distributed amongst the top 11 teams from each run. The first two qualifier stages concluded back in May and June this year, which means 22 teams have already booked their tickets to the finals.
After including the 11 teams from Qualifier 3, this adds up to a total of 33 squads, which will all battle it out at the LAN finals for a total prize pool of $175,000. The team that comes out on top in the finals will bag $75,000, as well as the honor of being the first ever Milk Cup champions. Put together, the three qualifier stages and the LAN finals make a grand total of $250,000 in prize money for the entirety of the Milk Cup.
As mentioned, female gamers at least 13 years of age are eligible to participate in the Milk Cup. However, only those with US citizenship, a green card, a student or working US visa, or any visa that allows them to receive income in the United States may sign up. Teams must consist of three players each, and may only use substitutes in qualifier stages. Substitutes are thus not permitted in the LAN finals.
Before that, however, the final 11 teams participating at the LAN finals must first be determined. This is where the third qualifier comes in, which will award the first place squad $7,500 and a place in the finals right off the bat. The 10 teams below them will likewise earn a ticket to the finals, as well as a bit of cash for their efforts.

The prize pool distribution for the third qualifier is as follows:
Interestingly, the teams that finished 12th to 16th in the previous qualifier have been seeded directly into Qualifier 3. This gives them one last chance to grab a spot at the LAN finals, so there’s still time for them to catch up, so to speak.
The third qualifier for the Milk Cup will be broadcasted primarily on Women of the eRena’s official Twitch channel, as well as several other watch parties by streamers and content creators in an unofficial capacity. These other channels include personalities like Leon “Khanada” Khim, Nate Hill, Shane “EpikWhale” Cotton, and more.
In addition to the official Twitch stream, Gonna Need Milk will also be hosting the third qualifier on their YouTube channel.
The qualifier lobby itself will start at 7PM EST.
