It might only be September, but we’ve already had a ton of Fortnitemares 2025 leaks. We’ve got a good idea of a bunch of the new collabs that are coming, along with the returning features we get every year. The Fortnitemares events is one of the most exciting each year.
While Christmas usually means free Fortnite skins, it and Summer are both essentially breaks. The game doesn’t receive updates, and it often gets filled with bugs. Fortnitemares on the other hand is usually an event with tons of content going on for players. There’s no break so everything keeps running! In more recent seasons it’s become when we get some of the best Fortnite crossovers too. It helps get the momentum going as we head towards the winter mini season and new Chapter.
This year, we’re expecting quite a bit to come. It’ll be one of our final big updates for this season and Chapter 6 of the game as a whole. What are we expecting?
All Fortnitemares 2025 Leaks
New Collabs
The new items and LTM are the biggest additions, but nothing seems to get players exciting like new Fortnite collabs. There’s a good number we’re already expecting from the Fortnitemares 2025 leaks:
Jason Voorhees
One more recent part of Fortnitemares has been the addition of Slasher characters are skins. More adult horror has started to show up, like Michael Myers, and Jigsaw. Now Jason Voorhees is due to join too. They’ll be a big collab for Fortnitemares 2025. They’re also going to be part of the game with a Jason medallion.
We don’t know how it’ll work just yet though. Or even if it’s planned for Battle Royale, or just Blitz Royale like the recent One Punch Man Medallion.
Scooby Doo
The other major upcoming Fortnite skins in leaks for Fortnitemares is Scooby Doo. We’re supposed to be getting Shaggy along with some other cosmetics. This will likely be for Fortnitemares too.
The Fortnitemares 2025 leaks have pointed towards multiple Scooby Doo skins coming. Although, we don’t know exactly what characters will be included.
Original Halloween Skins
While collabs are fun, we also get new Fortnite Halloween skins most years too. These include Halloween versions of original Fortnite characters. Some of these have gone on to be the best Fortnite skins. Or even the rarest, like the OG version of Skull Trooper.
We don’t know exactly what the Halloween skins will be this time. We’ll probably see them show up as upcoming Fortnite skins in the next update though.
New Modes and Features
Alongside the collabs, we’re expecting a returning Fortnite LTM as well as other new features. The Horde Rush mode is one of the most popular LTMs we get and it should be returning this season.
It’s a mode where players defeat waves of Halloween enemies as they move through a small zone on the map. Before, fighting a large raid boss at the end. In the past we’ve gotten free cosmetics for doing quests in this mode too.
The Fortnitemares LTM will likely have some new features to spice things up this year according to Fortnitemares 2025 leaks. There are always new weapons, we could even see the Exotics this season brought in for some fun gameplay.
Otherwise, there’s a batch of Halloween items which return quite regularly to Battle Royale:
Trick or Treat Candy
A yearly item that basically no one even notices. Little candy around the map, which does very minor healing. Similar to the fruit and vegetables in other parts of the map. Not really enough of a heal to be anything other than a top up as you rotate.
Witch’s Broom
This one is much more fun and it has come back for most Fortnitemares lately. It’s a broom which works as a glider redeploy. You launch back up in the air then float, like using a launch pad. Always great mobility.
Chainsaw
This is one that hasn’t been in every year but was quite useful last year. It was both a rotation tool and a melee attack item. These combo tools have been a permanent feature in the last year, and we don’t have one so far in Chapter 6 Season 4. We’ll likely see the Chainsaw taking up that role in Fortnitemares 2025.
When is Fortnitemares 2025?
Those are the big Fortnitemares 2025 leaks so far, but when is it coming? The Fortnite updates are going to mean Fortnitemares covers the back half of this season. We can probably expect the content to start arriving in October. With Fortnite updates throughout spacing out releases like the new collabs.
Since the season ends at the start of November, the Fortnitemares 2025 content should have about a month to all get released. Then, it’s off to a new mini season and potentially a special map for a month.
