The new Fortnite season has a ton of weapons to explore but some are special. It’s one of those seasons which is packed with one-of-a-kind loot. All of which is overpowered. Meaning anyone just using loot from chests is at a huge disadvantage. If you want to compete against the other humans in the lobby instead of just bots, you’ll need to track down the Fortnite Exotics.

This season’s method for delivering these Exotic weapons is kind of similar to the Black Markets we saw in Season 2. They’re all locked away behind a mid-game objective. But you need to level up your rank in-game before you get access to them. Using the returning the rank system, with its adjustments for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 too. Meaning you need to spend the early game completing those objectives instead of going up against other players.

The Fortnite Exotics are some of the most fun items this season. These are the Exotics and how you can track them down in-game:

The Eradicator O.X.R Rifle is a powered-up version of the new Marksman Rifle. Every time you land a shot, it deals more and more damage. This is going to be fantastic if you have the aim and Fortnite skills to back it up. The Eradicator can make easy work of players once it powers up, even better if it’s a team and you can chain shots.

Double Pumps

This one brings back one of the Fortnite OG weapons that older players love, the Double Pump. This was an accidental feature in the game’s early seasons. Where you quickly switched between Pump Shotguns, meaning there’s no cooldown and you can just instantly fire off endless shotgun shots.

The Double Pumps drop as two items. If you switch between them, you can chain them till you’re out of ammo. Even with one though, you can switch back and forth with other items. Since the Wrecker Revolver is so powerful, these Fortnite exotic weapons can be split in a Duo.

Shock N’Slow Shockwave Launcher

The Shockwave Launcher is one of the items that has already been vaulted in a Fortnite hotfix in Chapter 6 Season 4. But this Exotic weapon is a version that slows enemies. You’ll move normally when using it yourself. When you use it on enemies though it applies a slow effect to them in the air.

This makes them a perfect target. If you have good aim. This weapon can isolate each of your opponents into a slowly floating target.

Marksman Wrecker Revolver

The Marksman Revolver is an enhanced version of the standout weapon of the Fortnite season so far, the Wrecker Revolver. This is apparently a pistol. Use it though, and it’s a shotgun which deals amazing damage even at a range.

This one has a better headshot multiplier and a better hip fire rate. It’s already one of the best Fortnite weapons, the Exotic weapons improves it even more. It’s one of the best ones to see when you open up the Fortnite Exotics locations.

Exotic Slap Berry Fizz

The last of the Fortnite Exotics in Chapter 6 Season 4 is the Slap Berry Fizz. Essentially, it’s a Flowberry Fizz that gives the Slap effect.

The Flowberry Fizz became one of the most iconic Fortnite items in Chapter 5, especially in Fortnite tournaments. It gave players heals, sure, but it’s more important for mobility. The Slap part of the Exotic is the Slap Juice. It gives infinite mobility briefly. Since it’s most useful with sprint jumps, this is huge. The Exotic version is going to be fantastic in stacked late games.

This gives double healing compared to standard Fizz too. It’s 400, and covers both shield and HP instead of just shield. It’s much better than the standard one. As a consumable, you’ll have to ration it to get the most out of it though.

How to Get Exotic Fortnite Weapons in Chapter 6 Season 4

Those are all of the Fortnite Exotic weapons this season but how can you track them down. It’s quite similar to the Black Markets we saw in Season 2 of this Chapter. But the Fortnite Exotics locations are tied to your rank instead of quests. You have to level up. Meaning those who landed at former Fortnite medallions spots a head start thanks to all the points for taking out those POI.

Since Medallions have been vaulted, it’s a bit trickier. You can still take out a Queen Bug for the big boost to your rank. There were also the infestations… but these have been vaulted too. Meaning it’s a bit harder to reliably get access to the vaults this season.

There are bunkers active, a random two out of four will be available to open. While it is will be purely random. They each also have a gate for your in-game rank. Once inside, you’ll find guaranteed exotic weapons! Along with a ton of other loot. You’ll get an exotic, a rare chest, and a special chest. All of them drop something huge. Along with a new second case containing one of the new Air Strike weapons.

To get the Exotic weapons, you need to level up your rank as quickly as possible. Either from sweating off spawn, or just taking down a boss and snagging a C6 S4 Medallion. Then head straight over to one of the bunkers. They’re marked on the map. You’ll then get your choice of Fortnite exotics inside. It’s a random pick though. Only two Exotics spawn each game and it’s completely random which. It can take a while to get the weapon you’re exactly looking for.

The Fortnite Exotics are going to mean players who drop on bosses are getting even more loot off spawn. If you’re not going for one of the best landing spots, you’ll be a lot slower getting there. Although, with so much randomness in which of the Exotics you get, it is difficult to plan a game around a specific weapon every time.
