All Fortnite Collabs and Upcoming Crossovers

Across the whole of Fortnite, we’ve seen a ton of collabs. They’ve become one of the biggest parts of the game. New seasons get collabs in the Battle Pass, the store, we’ve even had them take over game modes. To many, Fortnite collabs are the biggest draw to the game.

Since Chapter 1, collabs have gotten bigger. They went from a slight crossover with the Item Shop, to being the central appeal to the game for a lot of players. Like them or not, we frequently get entire Fortnite seasons taken over by crossovers.

In Chapter 6, we got multiple seasons that are basically entirely collab. Starting with Star Wars, a hodge podge of various adverts for Fortnitemares 2025. And eventually, a Simpsons mini-season. Now we’re in Chapter 7, which has had more collabs than weapons. There’s multiple every week.

Where did Fortnite collabs start, and what are all Fortnite collabs we’ve seen in the games history?

All Fortnite Collabs List

Fortnite collabs and Fortnite crossovers have been running since mid-way through Chapter 1. But they didn’t really come into their modern form until Chapter 2. When Fortnite collabs became a very regular occurrence, bringing in items as well as skins. Even more recently, we’ve had entire collab seasons. These are all the Fortnite collabs we’ve had to date:

Chapter 7 Collabs

Season 2

The second season of Chapter 7 hasn’t let up on Fortnite collabs. It began with Looney Tunes in the item shop.

Since then, we’ve had more and more added. Big ranchises are arriving constantly. oten to suprisingly little fanfare. Understandable given how much perople seem to feeling collab fatigue with Fortnite at the moment and the backlash to all the layoffs on Fortnite’s development team this season.

Later in the season, we’re expecting something even more shocking. AI slop skins are arriving. Which will probably mean the quality-level of Fortnite collabs is aboutt to vanish.

Season 1

This season we’ve had a ton more Fortnite collabs added to the game. They’ve been a little overwhelming in fact. Maybe more than ever before, collab fatigue has been talked about in Fortnite.

It isn’t just having some random underdeveloped collabs in the Battle Pass. There’s a load of new ones in the item Shop, with barley enough time to process them. For the most part though, it’s just skins you can buy. Only a few have come to the game itself.

It’s probably South Park x Fortnite that was the biggest. This has a Mythic which activated in only a few games. We’ve got a ton more coming too. The Fortnite season end date got delayed, but it seems there’s still constant collabs coming to the game.

Chapter 6 Collabs

Out of all Fortnite collabs, only a small handful get a dedicated season. So far, we’ve had Star Wars, and now the Simpsons.

A full Fortnite Simpsons mini season has been held at the end of Chapter 6. Obviously, there’s one major Fortnite collab which dominated this mini season. We had a Simpsons map, a whole pass of Simpsons skins, some items. There’s a lot. The dedicated map is maybe the most exciting part of the Fortnite collabs. It’s possibly the biggest effort we’ve seen put into any Fortnite collab.

There might have been bigger collabs long-term, but they took years of being in the game to get there. Marvel might have tons of skins and Star Wars has had multiple events, but only the Simpsons has had a dedicated Battle Royale map.

We did get other collabs this season. More Stranger Things, more artists, loads of skins. It also introduced a brand-new category for Fortnite collabs; sidekicks. These are pets or creatures which follow you around the map. They’ve opened the door to a ton of collabs that wouldn’t normally fit Fortnite hitboxes to be featured in the game

Upcoming Fortnite Collabs

That’s what we’ve seen already, but what’s coming next? Fortnite leakers have given us a clear idea of some of the collabs that are planned for future Fortnite updates. Including some of the most requested franchises to come to Fortnite.

Players have been looking forward to some of these for for a while! But they can take a long time.

Demon Slayer has appeared in Fortnite leaks since Chapter 6. It would have made perfect sense for the Fortnite collabs in Season 1, with its Japanese mythology theme. But now we’re in Chapter 7, it doesn’t seem as likely any more. Sometimes upcoming Fortnite skins or leaks just disappear like that.

What is the Rarest Fortnite Collabs?

Collabs are often biggest sellers for Fortnite, so they’re often not that rare. Even collab skins that temporarily get ranked as some of the rarest Fortnite skins tend to come back eventually, like Arcane Jinx. However, the Astro Jack and Travis Scott collabs are currently pretty rare. They’ve been gone from the item shop for quite a long time.

One factor that stops Fortnite collabs getting too rare is lookalike skins. When Epic included a collab skin in the Battle Pass, some players were locked out of buying it. So, we tended to get a lookalike skin you could buy instead. Now Battle Passes aren’t exclusive, it doesn’t matter anymore. But we’ve seen this with a ton of the oldest Fortnite BP collab skins.

Mandalorian was in the Battle Pass, so another Mandalorian with near identical armor was in the shop. Darth Vader is locked in an old pass, so we get a Samurai Vader in the shop. Even one of the earliest BP collab skins, Deadpool, got an Item Shop variant that’s essentially just a better designed version of an identical character.

What Was the First Fortnite Collab Skin?

These days, Fortnite is nearly all collabs, but what was the first one?
The first collab in general was with Marvel. The Infinity Gauntlet LTM let players transform into a Marvel character. It wasn’t a full skin yet though. The first full skin was in Season 6. Where we got NFL Skins added to the item shop. Followed by the first wave of Marvel Fortnite skins, which are kind of endless now.
