Riot Games has suspended Jay “Sinatraa” Won from the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour Masters One tournament in response to sexual abuse allegations from his ex-girlfriend. Sentinels is launching an internal investigation and suspended Sinatraa while the investigation is pending.

On March 9, Sinatraa’s ex-girlfriend posted a document explaining the multiple cases of abuse. The document also includes a short clip of Sinatraa allegedly rejecting her requests to stop having sex.

Both Riot Games and Sentinals have suspended the player while they complete investigations into the claims. Sinatraa has yet to respond to the accusations.

“We are aware of the current situation regarding Jay Won (Sinatraa) and have launched an investigation,” Riot said. “Per our existing competitive rules and investigative process, a decision has been made to suspend Won throughout the investigation and therefore he will not be able to compete this weekend.”

Sentinels confirmed they will provide an update after its investigation is completed.

Sentinels qualified for the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters One on March 11. But Sinatraa will not compete with the team as he is suspended from the team and Riot Games. It is unclear who Sentinels will use as a stand-in.

Sinatraa is a former Overwatch player and Overwatch League Champion. He was also the 2019 OWL MVP and received an in-game skin to commemorate his success. Sinatraa shockingly exited professional Overwatch in April of 2020. He quickly signed with Sentinels and has stuck with the talented squad ever since.
