NBK started competing in CS: Source in 2009. He switched to CS:GO in 2012 and played with several teams throughout the next nine years. These teams included VeryGames, Envy, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, and OG. He won several tournaments, including DremHack Winter 2014, DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca 2015, and the World Electronic Sports Games 2016.

NBK has spent the last few months on OG’s bench, however. And the talented player is finally taking his talents to a new game, just like many of his former CS colleagues.

“I have done it all, from local LANS to winning majors. Grinded through the ranks and sat on top of the world,” NBK said in his announcement video. “I lived the biggest disappointments and the best tournament wins. Counter-strike gave me everything, and I dedicated my life to it. But memories are meant to stay in the past. It is time for a change, and I am coming to dominate.”

NBK is the latest CS:GO professional to make the jump to VALORANT. Some of the best teams in the world consist of former CS players. It is unclear how much experience NBK has with VALORANT. But his skills will likely transfer without issue. He has not revealed if he is staying with OG or transferring to a new team, but fans will likely learn his plans soon.
