One of the biggest separators of Gamer Advantage from all of the competition is the bundles you can purchase. Depending on the specific frames you purchase – there are eight different variants – you can select various different bundles. The Starter Bundle will always contain the glasses themselves and a microfibre pouch to store them. But, depending on which other bundles you buy, you can get a magnetic polarized sunclip, eyeglass cleaner, a stand for your glasses and more. From our usage, all of the products that come in these bundles prove to be worth the slightly extra cost.
For the Gamer Advantage glasses themselves, they are some of the clearest glasses we have used. Now, that might sound trivial, but you can get plenty of gaming glasses that are made with yellow lenses. This does help with digital eye strain, but it also makes everything have a weird yellow hue to it. Some makers of gaming glasses will create the lens and then apply a coating to it to create the tint. Gamer Advantage creates their glasses from the ground up to provide consistent protection. Because of this, the lenses are both very clear with minimal tint and built to last.
In terms of negatives, we really don’t have many for Gamer Advantage glasses. Maybe some of the added features in the bundles are not useful for everyone, but they are all built of high quality.
Gunnar Gaming Glasses
Gunnars is likely the first brand you think of when you think of gaming glasses. And that is for good reason. Gunnar’s origins date back to 2003 and have become ubiquitous over the past several years with gaming. During that period, Gunnar has really broke away from competitors by offering different levels of blue light filters. Gunnar themselves compares it themselves to different SPFs of sunscreen with glasses ranging from Gunnar Blue Light Filter 35 – the least – to 98 – the most. This allows you to make sure you are getting the best glasses that work for you.
In terms of construction, Gunnar gaming glasses are some of the best around. Rock-solid yet lightweight frames that caused no pinching as well as durable lenses. You are not likely going to find better bang for your buck in terms of actual construction than Gunnars.
The only real knock we have on Gunnars is that, depending on which level of Gunnar Blue Light Filter you use, it can cause color distortion. The lenses get pretty dark as you go higher up the level of protection, which can cause the colors in your game to look off.

Like many other of the top brands in gaming glasses, Glassy actually hit it big in another scene first. Glassy first made their mark in the skateboarding scene for their sunglasses. Maybe the most impressive aspect of Glassy is their sheer number of options for gamers. Glassy has 35 different frames and styles for their gaming glasses – included heart-shaped glasses (because why not). That does not mean all of these styles are available in prescription, but plenty of them are.
This variety of options has actually led to Glassy catching the eye of various pro players and streamers including Zooma, Attach, Enable and more. Even creating signature collaborations with these pros and more.
One thing to keep an eye on with Glassy is the measurements when you are purchasing your glasses. With such a wide array of frames and styles, not all of them are going to be a perfect fit for everyone. Make sure you check the measurements and that the gaming glasses you choose will fit your head.

Tifosi is a well-known brand in the glasses space, really cutting their teeth in providing excellent sunglasses for athletes. They took their deep knowledge of the sports space and brought it over to gaming with the introduction of their gaming glasses. Thanks to their experience in other markets, Tifosi is able to bring something different to the table than most gaming glasses – full customization. For several of their gaming glasses, you can customize the colors of everything from the frame to the ear pads and the arms. And it is not just a simple “black or white” option either. You can really get some weird color combinations if that is what you want.
Tifosi their Enliven Lenses to the gaming scene. These lenses were designed for both their golf glasses and sunglasses and it basically adjusts the color being taken into your eyes. Instead of simply dulling everything or specifically blue light, they help sharpen and define colors more.
The biggest knock on the Tifosi Optics is that you do not seem to be able to purchase the gaming glasses in a prescription. If you go to their prescription section of the website, you are able to order glasses with your prescription, however, they are not specifically the gaming glasses. You can add a blue light filter to those but it is not identical to the gaming glasses themselves.
Syght Glass offers gamers a huge selection of frames for their gaming glasses. And most of those glasses come with a variety of customization options to make them perfect for you. One of the most impressive aspects of Syght is that they come in men’s, women’s and children’s sizes. It is especially impressive to see a gaming glasses company put a focus on children, as we are spending more and more time in front of screens at young and younger ages. Getting some blue light glasses for kids could actually go a long way to helping prevent issues down the road.
Slyght gaming glasses are sturdy and affordable. They are lightweight and sit well on your face. They are not the best quality in terms of materials, but are also not going to break down at a moment’s notice either. It is a trade-off you can expect whenever you find an affordable pair of glasses. They are a little on the smaller size in terms of the actual lenses compared to other brands, which is something to watch out for. As always, double-check the measurements of any pair of glasses before you buy them.
We think Syght gaming glasses are excellent for younger users. Something for your child to wear if they spend a lot of time in front of the screen without breaking the bank. They are also likely ideal for folks who will not need to wear gaming glasses 8-9 hours a day. If you are more casual, then Syght is an excellent choice.
