Theeban “1437” Sivanathapillai is leaving the squad. He followed up with his own tweet, saying that departing J.Storm post-TI9 was always part of the plan due to family obligations, including the wedding mentioned in the J.Storm tweet. 1437 indicated that he will be streaming through the end of the year and then looking to make a competitive return.

Replacing 1437 is Peruvian player Joel Mori “MoOz” Ozambela. MoOz had most recently played for beastcoast, placing third in the North American regional qualifier for TI9, and before that, Gorillaz-Pride. MoOz will play in the position four role, while Clinton “Fear” Loomis will move to the hard support/position five role. Fear will continue to captain the squad.

J.Storm competed in three of the five Majors last season but came up slightly short in the qualifier for TI9. The team is currently scheduled to start the new season ahead of the first set of DPC qualifiers. They’ll debut the new roster in the WePlay! Madness Reshuffle 2019 tournament. That will take place from September 21-28.

With the roster deadline still more than ten days out, many more teams will start to reveal their final line-ups for the first Dota 2 Pro Circuit event in the coming days. Check back with Hotspawn frequently for all the updates!
