The first major Call of Duty Black Ops 4 event will be taking place this weekend. Hundreds of teams will be fighting for $250,000. The 2018 CWL Champions, Team EnVy, will be looking to defend their title. 2017’s Champions, OpTic Gaming, are looking to impress with their new roster.
The matches for CWL Las Vegas will kick off at 4pm CST on Friday.
There will be dozens of professional teams that will be participating along with amateur teams looking to make a name for themselves. The first event of the season will finally be able to answer the question that CoD fans have been asking since October; who is the best?
Notable Participating Teams
The CWL Las Vegas Open will feature 16 pool play teams and several open bracket teams. The top 12 teams from 2017 automatically qualified for pool play through placement or WWII pro points. The final four pool play teams will be determined through a play-in tournament. The play-in will be held on Thursday, December 6, which is one day before the official event kicks off.
