Scott Robertson

It’s gonna be a busy week for the Call of Duty League and its fans. To make up for missing the Feb. 19-21 weekend, the CDL is running “Super Week” starting on Monday, Feb. 22.

Super Week will be seven straight days of Call of Duty action from Monday to Friday, starting with the Florida Mutineers taking on the LA Guerillas. All-in-all, there will be 20 matches across the seven-day span. The Feb. 19-21 weekend was initially postponed due to weather issues created by winter storms. The state of Texas in particular was hit especially hard, where several players and teams have set up shop. According to the CDL announcement, 24 players specifically are stationed in Dallas, TX.

The CDL Super Week will effectively combine the matches slated to take place during Phase II and Phase III, as part of the first stage. Following the conclusion of the Super Week, the seedings for the first CDL 2021 Major will be set. The major is scheduled to begin on March 1st with a seeded double-elimination bracket. The top seed from each group gets a highly sought-after bye to the winner’s bracket second round.

After just the first phase of stage one, LA Thieves and Atlanta FaZe each sit atop their groups as the only teams with 2-0 records. The Thieves will face Seattle, London, and Dallas during Super Week. FaZe will take on Toronto, Florida, and Minnesota.

The CDL Super Week matches will be streamed on the CDL YouTube channel in 4k. The first match between the Mutineers and the Guerillas begins at 3pm ET/12pm PT on Feb. 22.
