KPop Demon Hunters X Fortnite is coming soon, because of course it is. Whenever something has a break out meme moment like this KPop animated film has, a Fortnite collab can’t be that far behind. After it was originally leaked a couple of weeks ago, we now know a lot about what’s coming. There’s KPop Demon Hunters Fortnite skins, and even a special mode coming for the event!

Right now, the Fortnite player count is hitting lows that we’ve not seen since Chapter 4. In response, Epic is unvaulting a ton of fan-favorite items whether they make sense for the game’s meta or not. And it seems they’re also trying to find a collab that will send the game into overdrive again too. As we gear up for Fortnitemares 2025, it seems they’re hoping that’s going to be KPop Demon Hunters X Fortnite. It’s getting a much bigger launch than normal. There are skins, but also a mode that’s been rebranded ready for this collab, and content for Creative.

What exactly is coming with this new collaboration? We have a few ideas about what’s happening as well as the date when KPop Demon Hunters come to Fortnite!

KPop Demon Hunters X Fortnite Coming Soon

Leakers are saying this is coming next, but what is KPop Demon Hunters? It’s a recently released 3D animated movie from Sony, which is roughly what it says on the tin. It’s a KPop group who also hunt demons. It’s a fun movie that’s captured attention for some particularly unique animation moments and being a bit looser to the style that’s overtaken 3D animated films lately.

It’s a family-friendly movie which has become popular with wider audiences and has some meme-worthy moments, which is usually a good formula for Fortnite collabs. It looks like it’ll be arriving pretty soon too. We’re expecting it in the very next update. And thanks to dataminers, we’ve got a good look at a couple of the skins that are coming too.

KPop Demon Hunters Fortnite Skins

Which skins are coming for this collab? There’s quite a bit already leaked. We’ve been expecting skins of the central characters, and they’ve leaked ahead of time. These are the skins that’ll come to the item shop:

These skins have been shown off as part of a UEFN Fortnite trailer. Assets for the Kpop Demon Hunters Fortnite collab will be available to map makers over the coming days. Players will be able to make tycoon maps, gun games, XP maps, anything they want featuring assets from the film.

KPop Demon Hunters Fortnite Horde Rush Mode

Along with the collabs, Epic is using those assets themselves. Every year for Halloween, we get the Horde Rush mode. It takes place on a Battle Royale map, but with only a few players. You rotate through a tiny circle around the map. Fighting wave after wave of enemies with a boss fight at the end. This year it’s getting a KPop Demon Hunters refresh.
Rather than fighting the same old creatures, it’ll be enemies from this film coming to the mode. It could see some other changes to line up with the movie too. Hopefully it’s a bit of a refresh for the gameplay too.

When Does KPop Demon Hunters Come to Fortnite?

Thanks to Epic’s update schedule, we now have a pretty clear idea of when does Fortnite KPop Demon Hunters come to Fortnite. We’re expecting it October 2nd. This will be the first of two Fortnitemares updates. Those are the two big updates before this season ends at the end of the month.

We don’t know exactly when the skins will arrive in the shop. However, this is the release date for the themed update as a whole. Since Horde Rush is coming then, it’ll probably be the same date for the skins unlocking too.
