The latest update might have only recently arrived, but the Fortnite Simpsons season won’t be running all that long. Some players are already wondering when does the Fortnite season end? It’s a season with one very strong theme, it’s a full collab season. These can always be a bit hit or miss for players. If you’re not that interested in the Simpsons though, then this might not be a month for you. Luckily, the Fortnite season end date isn’t very far away.
The current Fortnite season is just a mini-season. Like the first run for Fortnite OG coming back, or Remix last year, it’s a four-week mini season. It won’t be a very long time until we get something new. And coming next is something huge.

When Does the Fortnite Season End?

The next Fortnite season begins a new Chapter. That means new map, new weapons, whole new meta, everything changes. While Fortnite Simpsons is fun, it’ll also see the return of the FNCS and major tournaments. So when does the Fortnite season end?

The current Fortnite season began on November 1st and it’s currently scheduled to end on November 29th 2025. It’s a mini season so it’s shorter than pretty much every other season we’ve had before. It isn’t really fair to compare it to most seasons. Beyond that though, it has had a special map. Made exclusively for the mini season, and going away once the four weeks are over.

Even if the day 1 meta isn’t for you though, there are changes coming. There’s going to be three different Fortnite updates coming across the month. These will add a few new items including some that are a bit more exciting than the current stripped back loot. But there’s only a few weeks until the Fortnite season ends, if you’re not a fan of it so far.

What’s Coming After the Season Ends?

Once this season wraps up, we move into a brand-new Chapter! There have already been some leaks for what’s coming. Along with an official teaser from Epic.

Apparently, Chapter 7 will be focused on a gala/casino theme. However, the map will have an American influence. Down to the Hollywood sign being present. This will carry over to the Fortnite collabs too. We’re getting things like Kill Bill as crossovers for next season.

One of the days the Fortnite season ends has seen big changes! In a recent Fortnite patch, we got an early release. Fortnite OG Season 5 was supposed to end in early October, but it got moved forward by a day!

If you were trying to finish off the OG pass, you’ve still got time. Epic will leave the old rewards available up until the original end date. However, players got to start playing Season 6 of OG early.

Season 6 is due to end on November 29th. It’ll line up with the end of the mini season coming in Battle Royale. These release dates have lined up with Battle Royale up until the last season. Before this, they were staggered. Which helped to keep something new in the game at all times, and a major story in Fortnite news every week. Epic has decided to move them together again now. With OG Seasons getting longer, this has become a more manageable schedule.

When Does the Fortnite Festival Season End?

The final Fortnite season end date to keep track of is Festival! While this is a rhythm game, its featured artist system means we get seasonal cycles here too. The current Fortnite Festival season is focused on Bruno Mars. It’s due to end later in October. The current season covers an original artist for some reason. Despite it spanning a Dua Lipa and Daft Punk collaboration in the game. We don’t know what’s coming next just yet either.

The Fortnite Festival seasons still aren’t aligned with the other releases. However, they work a bit differently. A Fortnite Festival season contains a Pass with a unique skin and some tracks. Outside of the pass though, things don’t massively change.

It isn’t the kind of season where content really changes. Gameplay is pretty much the same season to season. Unless you’ve delayed a long time to get the Festival skin, the Fortnite season end date won’t make a huge difference here.
