When is the Fortnitemares update? We just had a live event in Fortnite, but Battle Royale has been a little quiet. Other than yet another boss transformation in every game with the Megazord update, not much happened in Battle Royale lately. That’ll change with the next Fortnite update! It’s going to bring the Fortnitemares content to the game at last. Although, according to leakers it’ll arrive in two different patches.
If you’re wondering when is the Fortnitemares update, it’ll be coming to the game as early as next week! Although, we expect a bit of a slower rollout for this event. It won’t all be coming at once. This is the answer to when is the Fortnitemares update coming along with what we can expect from these two big two drops of content.
When is the Fortnitemares Update?
The next Fortnite update is coming on October 2nd! This will be the first part of the event. Dropping some of the collabs, the LTM, but maybe not fully transforming the map to the Halloween version.
Then, a week later we’ll get the next update. That’s arriving on October 9th, with the final batch of content. It’ll set up the rest of the Fortnitemares event. And likely be one of our final Fortnite updates before the season ends. That’s when is the Fortnitemares update, but what is coming in the update?
Next Fortnite Update – Fortnitemares 1
The first update of Fortnitemares is going to be a big one! But not really focused on Battle Royale. It’ll bring quite a few collabs into the game, the biggest being the KPop Demon Hunters Fortnite crossover.
We’ll be getting those skins unlocked once Fortnitemares 2025 begins! They’ll be in the item shop. We’ll also see an LTM added. The Horde Rush LTM is making a comeback. But it won’t be the same as every other year. This time, it’s a KPop Demon Hunters mode.
The monsters in the mode are going to be taken over by the demons from KPop Demon Hunters creatures. We could see other changes to bring the mode in line with the crossover. It’ll likely be a familiar format to previous years though.
There are some other changes planned with this Fortnite update too. The Doja Cat Fortnite collab. Plus, some other skins, maybe some of the original Halloween skins that are in the files. Although, the Fortnitemares update won’t be coming to Battle Royale just yet. Instead, that’s coming with the second batch, the one after the next Fortnite update.
Second Fortnitemares Update
For the October 9th update, things get interesting with Battle Royale. This is when Fortnitemares begins for the main mode! We can expect the lighting changes, mood setting for Halloween, the new items, and some new features too. Fortnitemares will roll us through to the end of the Chapter. Last year, it came with major map changes. If we get something similar this time, it could change a lot.
We’ll also get a ton more skins for the next Fortnite update. The Ghostface skin, Jason Voorhees collab (including Medallion), Scooby Doo, and others will come in this update. They’ll have to be cycled through the game over 3 weeks before Fortnitemares ends though
That’s when is Fortnitemares update and the content we can expect! It’ll be a busier month for Battle Royale. Since the bug season kind of flopped, it hasn’t been all that entertaining to jump in. Hopefully, Fortnitemares can make a big difference to gameplay or the Fortnite player count. It usually brings a complete reset for the season, at least for the month.
