One of the best parts of Halloween is the Fortnitemares skins. We’ve had loads of Fortnitemares skins. From big collabs, through to original takes that gave Fortnite characters their own Halloween costumes.
Some of the Fortnite Halloween skins are the best outfits in the game! These are the top 10 in the game in 2025 and all Fortnitemares skins we’ve ever seen.
One of the first best Fortnite Halloween skins is Gummy Fishsticks. Technically, this is classed as a Fortnitemares skin! It’s a Halloween custom for Fishsticks that makes him into a Sweedish Fish. He’s one of the most recognizable characters in Fortnite, it’s always good to get more versions of him.
One of the lesser remembered Fortnite collabs was the crossover with Universal Monsters! In this collab, we got this Frankenstein skin. Among others. It’s a great representation of a horror icon in Fortnite.
Most Fortnite skins are built off a few default character models, which leads to fun like Batman being Jonesy underneath his mask! But Penny is a character from Save the World who gets fewer skins. That’s why it’s great that we have entries like Rotten Penny, a zombie version of her. The Fortnitemares skins making one character a zombie are quite common.
Vemon isn’t strictly a Fortnitemares skin, but when Epic brought in age ratings he was apparently among the scariest skins in the title!
Venom was one of a handful of skins too scary for all ages modes, like Fortnite XP maps, despite being a comic book character. Venom didn’t even feature guns like the others! He’s a great pick for Halloween skins if you’re going purely off what Epic’s age rating system thinks is the scariest.
It took a while for the Fortnitemares additions to the game to start to touch on some of the more iconic scary movies. Michael Myers marked the first time we got a more adult horror star in the game! And he’s definitely a striking presence in lobbies. His emote is specifically worth calling out too, recreating the iconic theme tune for Fortnite Halloween skins to play. Along with a themed Fortnite pickaxe.
Jack Skellington is one of the Fortnite collab skins which ranks among the best Fortnite Halloween skins. This popular character shows up with his dimensions a little adjusted to make sense in Fortnite’s hitboxes. However, he’s well-presented otherwise. With some great emotes to go with him.
Crackshot is a Halloween take on an idea which Epic has used for different holidays too. Starting at Christmas with a Nutcracker skin, which in Crackshot gets a Halloween version instead.
This one of the Fortnitemares skins arrived in Chapter 5. It’s a Halloween or Witch themed version of Lexa, the anime character that Epic has given numerous skins to at this point. Lexa Harbringer is one of the most popular Fortnite skins out of each of them though.
This is a more recent addition but one that’s been incredibly popular with Fortnite players. This skin even shows up all over the FNCS lobbies, which is difficult to achieve if a skin isn’t entirely plain. It’s one of the best Fortnite Halloween skins.
Ghoul Trooper is the best Fortnite Halloween skins! This one was one of the first skins ever released! Players thought it was exclusive, until Epic brought it back next Halloween. It ended up getting a second style just for OGs, which is still one of the rarest Fortnite skins in the game.
As we’re getting towards Halloween and Fortnitemares, what kind of skins can players use? Over the years, we’ve amassed tons of Fortnite Halloween skins. Fortnitemares has meant collab skins, new versions of characters, and everything in between. These are all of our Fortnite Halloween skins if you need some inspiration for this Autumn:
