The next Fortnite update is going to be one of our biggest this year so far! With the South Park event ending, we’re getting new content to play in Fortnite. The Chappell Roan Fortnite update will also begin a new season for Fortnite Festival. Along with making some changes to the UI that players have been requesting for a long time now.
It isn’t going to be a new Fortnite season, or anything on that scale. But it should be enough to refresh things a bit. This is everything that’s going to change with the next Fortnite update:
It’s Valentine’s Day soon which means new original Fortnite skins. We’re getting a new batch, a couple of which have already been revealed. like this original valentine’s day themed skin. Plus, this new Hocky and skin. We’re expecting both to be in the next Fortnite update.

The biggest change with the next Fortnite update is probably Chappell Roan. This is the next featured artist for Festival and a skin joining the Fortnite Icon Series. There has been three skins shown off ahead of the next Fortnite update. Plus, a new Fortnite sidekick is joining the game, a Pink Llama.
There will be a skin in the Festival pass and some in the item shop. That’s the usual pattern for these releases. They’ll be some new Jam Tracks to play too and extra items in the pass.

If someone strikes a nerve of popularity with a younger crowd, it often sticks around. Lately, that has been K-Pop Demon Hunters. This franchise is getting a second wave in Fortnite too.
We’re expecting new skins featuring some of the male characters from the movie. Alongside a sidekick of the cat that’s in the film. They’ll all be in the item shop soon.

Marvel Rivals has been pretty popular selling its own skins, but it has had some inclusions in Fortnite too. We’re getting more of those in the next Fortnite update. it isn’t clear which characters yet. But it’ll be fun to see how the designs translate to Fortnite’s art style.
The whole update isn’t Fortnite collabs though. There are some actual changes coming too.

The biggest change in Battle Royale might be what they’re removing from the game, the South Park stuff. This was a shorter event, but it’s already kind of outstayed its welcome. players are getting frustrated with the inevitable heal of that every Stick of Truth game became, so that’s leaving.
There are also some new items that Epic has been teasing. The first is the Friend Zone Bubble from Delulu. The functionality might be different in Battle Royale though. There’s also an auto-aiming assault rifle that they’ve been discussing. This is probably going to be a menace.
There are some minor changes coming to re-balance stuff we’re expecting too. The Crash Pad Jr will be vaulted and replaced with the Shockwave Grenades. These have been missed. We’re also expecting the self-revive token to return. If players can figure out a use for that at last in the Chappell Roan Fortnite update.
Since there’s been a lot of backlash lately, Epic has started listing item changes before they even happen now. Promising to fix the game in the next Fortnite update. So, we know a little bit about what’s coming soon. These are the balancing changes we’ve seen so far:
We’re also expecting some more map changes like Wonkeeland coming back. Plus, there will be some changes like the Seven storyline continuing.

There’s been a lot of unnecessary changes to the game lately and some of these are being removed in the next Fortnite update. These are the changes we’re expecting:

Those are all of the changes we’re expecting in the next Fortnite update. There could be extra changes coming though. Lately, player’s most wanted features seem to just be bug fixes. Hopefully, this patch helps get Fortnite a bit closer to working as intended.
