What are the best Fortnite crossovers? The game began as a largely original work, but over time we’ve reached the stage where collabs are a lot of the game. Every season is now a list of various crossovers the game moves between, going way beyond just skins in the item shop. But which are the best crossovers?

It’s an area where different players will have their own favorites. Some players might love the nostalgia hitting Power Rangers collab, or even the early Marvel collabs for memories of earlier Fortnite’s seasons. But which could we rank as the top 10? Looking at their impact on the game, their scale in effecting the game, and more, these are the best Fortnite crossovers:

One of the biggest Fortnite collabs as a whole is Star Wars. This began in 2019, but it’s been a pretty regular part of the game ever since. Each year since it was first added we’ve gotten a Star Wars collab, of varying size. The most recent one was an entire mini Fortnite season, four weeks of Star Wars. A collab this big is a bit different, it has had highs and lows.
One particularly notable moment was when a broadcast at Risky Reels turned out to be completely vital for the movie’s plot. To promote the Rise of Skywalker, players could gather in the POI to watch a teaser for the film.
Players expected a clip or something, but actually got an audio clip from the Emperor, which would never be repeated again. The movie opened with the line “The dead speak”. Building off this event… but never filing everyone else in. Unless you played Fortnite, you missed it. Baffling choice to open a film, but a funny part of Fortnite history.
Otherwise, Fortnite X Star Wars has had big years and small ones. Lately it’s getting pretty repetitive having this same stuff each year. But some players still enjoy it and rank it as one of the best Fortnite crossovers.

At the end of Chapter 4, we got OG. A flashback to the earliest seasons. It was huge. Record Fortnite player counts, everybody loved getting an older style of gameplay back. At the end of Chapter 5 a year later, Epic did something similar, but quite different.
It started as Chapter 2. Another flashback mini season. But instead of re-creating the best loved part of Chapter 2… it brought in a bunch of completely random collabs as well. A number of rappers replaced the iconic Chapter 2 Season 2 Bosses. How much you missed Midas and the gang probably effects if this is one of the best Fortnite crossovers or you or not.
It wasn’t just a skin change though. The loot pool was entirely different. These bosses became NPCs when defeated and handed out overpowered weapons. It became one of those seasons where every human player hot drops the same boss, and you mop up bots for the rest of the game.
The Fortnite Remix collaboration has a bit of a mixed legacy, but it’s hard to say it didn’t impact the game massively. Since then, collab mini-seasons have become a permanent fixture. Even Fortnitemares this year was a month-long event of just collabs. Before we move into a Simpsons collab month too. In hindsight, Fortnite Remix might have been a turning point for the game.

Marvel is one of the Fortnite collabs which just won’t go away. It was one of the first collabs to come to the game in a major way. The first one to get a season all to itself. And the second to do so.
Not to mention having the most Fortnite skins. Marvel has been a huge part of the game, starting with the Thanos collab. That was where players could become the character and dominate a lobby. Since then, it has had focused seasons in Chapter 2 and 4, along with a ton of skins. For a long time, every Battle Pass had something Marvel too. If the best Fortnite crossovers are those with the largest presence in the game, it’s Fortnite X Marvel.

Marshmello is one of the best Fortnite crossovers, and definitely the most impactful… Marshmello was part of the first Fortnite concert. Players gathered together in one place to watch the performance. Which has led to tons of different Fortnite events over the years. Most recently the Daft Punk one. It’s likely also behind the Fortnite Festival game mode and its now seasonal featured artists.

What’s the best Fortnite collab? In terms of influence, it would be hard to argue with Lego. This collaboration marked a major change in Fortnite. Where it ceased to be just the Battle Royale spin-off of Save the World, and became a platform instead.
The Fortnite Lego collab came as the game launched a ton of different modes, rebranding itself as a Roblox-style platform. Lego was the most fleshed out too. Originally launching with just the Lego mode, now called Odyssey, its expanded to feature quite a few different Lego games now.
Every skin got a Lego version, a new pass launched, Fortnite X Lego was one of the biggest collabs we’ve seen. It’s one that looks ongoing too. Every new Fortnite skin gets a Lego style and the modes have been consistently updates for years now.
