Fortnite Festival Season 11 leaks are here and it’s going to be a weird one. The game isn’t featuring a brand-new artist like we’ve seen in the past ten seasons. Instead, it’s going to be an original skin. By the looks of the leaks, it’s going to be a character that seems like it could appear in any Battle Pass, at any time. Pretty much any pass could have contained this generic character without skipping a beat.

Fortnite Festival Season 11 Leaks – New Skin

When combined with how many musical acts are being featured in the game right now, it’s got fans a bit confused. Instead of another Fortnite Icon, the Fortnite Festival Season 11 leaks say we’re getting something much plainer.

We’re approach the two-year anniversary of Fortnite Festival! Since the game launched all these extra modes and embraced the platform system, Festival has maybe had the most support. Rocket Racing is dead, Lego is stable but pretty much done, but Festival still gets new seasons. A new artist each time. Although, over the years the pass has changed. It now gets fewer actual tracks and more just general filler. For Fortnite Festival Season 11 leaks, it looks like it’s going entirely original starting next time.

Fortnite Festival Season 11 Leaks Show Original Character

For Fortnite Festival Season 11, we’re expecting an original character to come as part of the pass! They’ve shown up in a banner art leak for the various things included in Fortnite Crew. We’ve got the Power Rangers from the Battle Pass, then skins like Calamity from OG. Finally, the Fortnite Festival Season 11 leaks for skins. It’s a pretty generic looking young woman. Once again, featuring the crop top that every Fortnite skin seems to get right now.

The skin has also been seen in the background of past Fortnite Festival teasers. Including with a skateboard, which might be the harvesting tool for this skin. Instead of any instrument of any kind, which would make a bit more sense for Fortnite Festival Season 11 leaks.

Apparently, Season 11 will just be a one off. To celebrate the anniversary of Festival it’s getting a stranger Pass this time. But will be back to proper artists starting next time. We don’t know who is lined up for the next one though.

It seems Epic is going with a fairly generic character this time. Which is a nice change, but with so many different musical artists in the game right now… it’s strange timing.

Tons of Musical Artists, None for Festival

An original Fortnite Festival skin makes sense, but it’s strange to get it while so many musical acts are being featured in the game. We literally just had a lengthy Daft Punk collab including a huge live event and skins. This would have made a lot of sense to launch a new Fortnite Festival season. The event ended being entirely its own thing, and didn’t really it into any specific mode.

It’s strange considering the whole collab would have lined up perfectly as a Fortnite Festival artist. It just, wasn’t. Then, there’s been two other collab which have been part of the game outside of Festival recently too.

Next, we got the KPop Demon Hunters. This collab has even had two different versions of the skins. One is already in the Item Shop, and a second version is coming soon. That’s already the release schedule we get for Festival artists. But all of that has been contained in Battle Royale this time. Not even songs will make it in, according to Fortnite Festival Season 11 leaks.

Finally, there’s Doja Cat. The artist is going to be featured in another Fortnitemares collab. Including a skin in the shop. This one could also have slotted into Fortnite Festival Season 11 quite easily.

The big thing to consider with this timing though, is Festival is largely gotten for free as part of Crew. Each of these collabs probably had potential to sell really well in the item shop. So, giving a bunch of players access through Fortnite Crew might be counter intuitive. If Fortnite Festival continues to go down this path though, interest in the Battle Pass could really wane. We’ve seen something similar happen to the OG Pass. Lazy passes generate less interest.
