While I haven’t had the pleasure of reviewing the full-size Logitech G915 Lightspeed Wireless, I have read the reviews. And the general consensus is that it’s one of the best wireless keyboards to date. The Logitech G915 TKL packs all those juicy, luxury features into a space-saving mini keyboard.
If you’re looking for a gaming keyboard that encompasses functionality, performance, and style allowing for extra desk room check out the G915 TKL. It comes in two colors: Carbon and White. And you can select it in one of three Logitech’s mechanical GL switches: Tactile, Linear, or Clicky.
Logitech was kind enough to send us the G915 TKL in Carbon with GL Tactile switches for this review.

Logitech G915 TKL First Impression
Right out of the box, the Logitech G915 TKL looks magnificent. Logitech made a simple-looking keyboard look and feel stylish. It’s compact, at a width of 368 mm.
It’s not the lightest TKL, but it’s not hefty nor bulky like many other TKLs. The lack of bulk is due to its low-profile GL switches being affixed to the 5052-aluminum alloy top case. The top case is sleek, with carbon-brushed, aluminum alloy joined to a sturdy black, steel bottom.
Though I prefer the more “clicky-clicky” switches, typing on the G915 TKL with tactile switches felt nice. It was more of a calm, quiet feeling. The G915 TKL boasts 1ms speeds with LIGHTSPEED wireless technology. I didn’t experience any input lag using both the LIGHTSPEED wireless and the Bluetooth connections.
The per-key RGB lighting is especially customizable with advanced LIGHTSYNC RGB technology via Logitech’s G Hub software. You can choose animations from the presets or create your own lighting animations. You can also adjust the preset lighting and brightness via keyboard by pressing the brightness key and a number 1-7.
Media keys are typically nothing special. However, the G915 TKL brings the heat with the rest of the keyboard as well as the aluminum volume wheel. The volume wheel feels precise.
My Favorite Logitech G915 TKL Features
My favorite feature of the G915 TKL is the ability to connect to multiple devices. I have this TKL connected to my standing workstation as well as my smart TV. I can switch seamlessly between devices via the controller button just above the F3 key. This is an excellent keyboard for the gamer who is a serial multi-tasker who needs a little extra space.
Another feature that stands out for me is the softness of the keys. As mentioned earlier, typing on this keyboard is a real treat. The keys are brushed metal with oleophobic coated caps. I did the “lotion” test to see if the keys retained fingerprints. Nope! No fingerprints!
Another cool feature of the Logitech G915 TKL is the little compartment in the back of the keyboard to store the wireless USB dongle. This is such a small but great solution for portable keyboards. Losing a wireless USB dongle is always a headache.
Final Thoughts
The Logitech G915 TKL is one of those gaming keyboards that adds sophistication to a gaming setup. It’s giving “I’m an adult gamer who requires both style and performance and I refuse to sacrifice either.” The carbon G915 TKL looks especially good against a desk with a light surface.
In all honesty, I’ve never been able to write an entire article using a TKL. I would usually start with the TKL I was reviewing. And no matter how much I liked it, I would have to switch back to my full keyboard. I just comfortably wrote an entire article using the G915 TKL. Yes, it’s that comfortable to type with.
