Overwatch Fortnite Skins Leaks

Overwatch X Fortnite is going to be coming to the game pretty soon! Fortnite leakers have revealed that these skins could be arriving soon. They claim they’re being worked on and will arrive within a set time limit too. Although, we don’t have the exact details of the Overwatch Fortnite skins. There are some characters which seem like an easy fit! And some they might avoid.

Fortnite already has a ton of skins in its Gaming Legends series. Where they immortalize characters from various franchises like God of War and Street Fighter. Overwatch would be a new one. it would also be another case of a franchise that’s had a bunch of controversies showing up in Fortnite.

Overwatch has kept going since the worst problems of Blizzards, but the game isn’t quite as popular anymore. There are some characters which would be a good fit for the game. This is what we’re expecting with the Overwatch X Fortnite collab:

Overwatch X Fortnite Leaks

Epic rolls out just about every Fortnite collab now and Overwatch is joining the list. According to leakers, it’ll be coming to the game very soon. leakers have said Overwatch Fortnite skins are being worked on and will release within 3 months. We don’t have an exact timetable just yet though.

The leaks don’t show what characters we’re getting either. It’s just that they’re being worked on. There are some characters that seem more likely though.

Overwatch Fortnite Skins

Out of all the Overwatch Fortnite skins, there’s some stand out characters. Kiriko has been a recent focus for the game. She’s been a bit of a focus for skins in OW 2. She seems a pretty strong contender for the Overwatch X Fortnite crossover.

Then there’s Tracer, who was the mascot character for the first game. She seems likely to be appearing in Overwatch 2 as well. Most of the human characters would fit fine. We’ll likely see over more iconic picks too, like Widowmaker. They’re one of the best known out of Overwatch’s roster.

Other characters might not be coming for Overwatch X Fortnite. There’s Cassidy, who was originally named after an old Blizzard employee… who was at the center of the Blizzard sexual harassment problems. There was a name change but it’s difficult to shake that off. There’s also Mercy who already has a lookalike in the game. Then some characters who it would be difficult to fit into the Fortnite hitboxs like Wrecking Ball.

We won’t know exactly what skins are coming until the official announcement. Some of them could rank as the best Fortnite skins in the future though. We’ll have to wait and see which are picked for an Overwatch Fortnite crossover.

When are the Overwatch X Fortnite Skins Releasing?

The initial Overwatch X Fortnite leaks are that the skins are in the works, but we have a vague release window too. Leakers believe they’ll be coming between now and 3 months. So that’s any time up to the Spring. It could be later this season, or after C7 S1 ends in March.

Lately, Fortnite collabs have been coming at random. They’re not really limited by themed weeks or seasons anymore. We could see Overwatch X Fortnite make its way into the item shop at any time! Since these are still early leaks, it’ll likely take a little longer though. It’s probably not coming in January or February’s Fortnite updates.
