There’s been a ton of collabs over the years but one of the most popular was the Fortnite Street Fighter skins. A collab between Fortnite and one of the most iconic fighting game franchises. Over a couple of waves back in Chapter 2, we got a load of the most iconic characters. But, they’ve been gone for a long time.

Since they were first added, the skins have gone on to be very popular. Skins like Chun Li in Fortnite are regularly requested by payers. But for a long time, they didn’t come back, as item shop refresh came and went, they stayed missing. After years, it’s looking like the Fortnite Street Fighter skins will come back soon.
According to leakers, the skins are due back this week! What skins are there and what are we expecting when they return to the game?
All Fortnite Street Fighter Skins
Ryu

This skin was one of the first, and the clearest candidate for SF skins. Ryu is one of the most iconic characters and his Fortnite skin showcased a fun classic design for the character. It’s not the aged version we’ve seen in SF 6, but the more classic version. There were two styles of Ryu. The original and a shirtless version!
Cammy

Next up is Cammy. This skin had quite a few changes! It is definitely based off the classic version of the character. However, to make her approiate for Fortnite, she’s got some leggings on! It’s a minor change but it has made her FN design unique.
Chun Li Fortnite Skin

The next of the Street Fighter Fortnite skins is Chun-Li! She’s gone on to be one of the most popular skins in Fortnite. It’s frequently Chun-Li that players talked about when they wanted the SF outfits back.
Guile

Another iconic character, the set wouldn’t be complete without Guile! As this is a shooter and not a fighter, his dramatic hair is a bit of a strange feature in third-person! It doesn’t block the view of Fortnite weapon sights like other skins though.
Blanka

As we got even more waves of skins, we got some more characters outside of the core cast. Blanka was an obvious fit, with a fun design that feels right at home in Fortnite. The more monstrous character even came with a second style of him in a suit.
Sakura

One of the last Street Fighter Fortnite skins was Sakura! The young martial arts enthusiast was brought to the came and makes a perfect Duo partner for Ryu.
How Long have the Fortnite Street Fighter Skins Been Missing?
Those are all of the Fortnite Street Fighter skins we’ve seen so far, but they’ve been missing for a long time now. They were last seen over 500 days ago! The most recent appearance of a lot of them was 2022. Summer 2022. Meaning the skins haven’t been seen for tons of Fortnite seasons at this point.
These skins could come back at any time though! They’re item shop skins, not locked out due to a Battle Pass or anything else. For a while, it seemed Capcom were holding them back. With Street Fighter 6 out and them having cosmetics of their own to sell, it might not have been the best timing for Fortnite. With other games getting new SF collabs though, they could come back soon!

How Much Do the Fortnite Street Fighter Skins Cost?
If you’re looking to pick these skins up, the whole bunch of them is going to cost you! Most of the skins are in bundles, coming with other matching cosmetics for 2,200 V-Bucks. Cheaper than newer collab skins, but not exactly a bargain. They are usually 1, 600 on their own. If you don’t need any extra gliders, pickaxes, or emotes.
Are They Coming Back?
The big question with the Fortnite Street Fighter skins is when are they coming back? Players have been clamouring for it. After quite a few false starts, it looks like the date is nearly here too! Fortnite leakers claim they’ll be available tonight!
One thing to keep in mind though, is that leakers have been wrong before. About this specifically. Recently too.
Leakers claimed they were coming back as soon as a week ago. So, while we hope they come back soon, it could end up taking longer. With Capcom working with games like Overwatch now, a return for these skins look likely.
