Fortnite Chapter 7 is starting up very soon! New seasons are fun. But brand-new Chapters are a considerably bigger release. New map, whole new loot pool, it changes everything. There’s going to be a lot more to jump into than we’d normally get for a seasonal changeover. We’ve started to get hints about what’s coming next too. Which has included Fortnite leaks, but its been blown wide open with a recent event. Epic hosted a creator preview for the upcoming Fortnite season.
In Fortnite spaces online over the last few days, things have gotten a bit weird. To premier the Fortnite Chapter 7 changes, they hosted a preview event. Which for some reason included Quinten Tarantino posing in front of Fortnite logos. There’s a bunch of other features we’ve gotten an early look at though. Including new collabs like Back to the Future! These are some of the changes coming soon:
We won’t find out the exact details until official patch notes are released. Epic has decided to tease a bunch of the new features early though. This is everything we’ve learned from this new preview:

Sometimes it can be a little surprising that reboot vans haven’t been a permanent part of the game. They were only added a few Fortnite seasons into Chapter 1! In Chapter 6 we got a feature where you could buy reboot cards instead of collecting them. Other than all of that though, the Reboot Vans have stayed the same. We haven’t seen any changes in them! Until now.
Fortnite Chapter 7 is going to make them driveable! This will likely mean that players can track down a reboot van and drive it to a safer spot. It could potentially even mean late game reboots become more viable in stacked lobbies like tournaments.
One feature that players have been asking for is bot lobbies. Players already get Fortnite bots in some lobbies, although its been very sweaty this season. There’s even a little workaround trick to get complete bot lobbies. But there wasn’t an official way to access a bot only version of the game. With the release of Fortnite Chapter 7, that’ll become a viable option.
Players can jump into a lobby with just bots in the game. It’s supposed to just be solos though, not a bot option for every mode.
One new type of vehicle coming are hot air balloons! In the past, we’ve had airships, but these will be more personal options for going high up on the map. We’ll likely see players using these to get height as well as move around in Fortnite Chapter 7.

An event will be coming in early Chapter 7, called Rift a Palooza. These in-game events might become a bigger part of the game in Chapter 7. We’ve seen similar features this season like the donut storm feature. It could be a varied part of gameplay to keep Battle Royale interesting.
The next big leaked change for Fortnite Chapter 7 is the UI. The game has been meddling with its UI pretty much every year lately. These are often Fortnite updates that feel like change for the sake of change. We’ll have to see what this new UI feels like in-game though.

As with pretty much all new Fortnite seasons, collabs are going to be a big part of the game. There are two major ones visible that will be part of the next Battle Pass. There’s the bride, from Kill Bill first.
This Fortnite collab has been in leaks for ages. But it seems those who go to see the expanded re-release of Kill Bill will get a free skin in Fortnite! A strange promotion. But free Fortnite skins are always good.
The other big collab is Marty McFly! Back to the Future is coming to the game. This collab is one that seems like a perfect fit. It’s easy to see how we could get a vehicle, skins with different styles, and even bringing back items like the hoverboard. This will supposedly be part of the Battle Pass too.
We’ve had a ton of leaks lately about Fortnite Chapter 7, including POIs based around Hollywood and a casino. But one more has been previewed in this event. A Water Park! We’ve never had a POI like this before so it’ll be a fun inclusion for the new map.
Those are all big changes were expecting, but when is the Fortnite Chapter 7 release date? The current Fortnite season is going to end on November 29th, with a major live event taking place. Then, downtime will begin. In a few hours we’ll be able to jump in and test out Fortnite Chapter 7 for ourselves.
