Fortnitemares has begun for the year introducing a ton of new Halloween features. One of the most exciting is the Fortnite Stalkbox. This is a special type of phone box, track one down on the map, and you can transform into the Fortnite Ghostface skin. Along with getting the Ghostface Mythic item. It’s a new type of Mythic that features some fun abilities that give you an advantage this season. To find it though, you need to track down the Stalkbox locations Fortnite has added.

Stalkbox Locations Fortnite Explained

These new Mythics are tackling the drop spot question a bit differently. Players have spent the last two seasons having to drop on a specific point on the map to get a Mythic, marked with a big giant spot on the map. This led to real players converging in very few spots on the map. However, for Fortnitemares, we’re back to being a bit more random. Including the Stalkbox Locations Fortnite has. These are the boxes you can track down this season:

If you’re hoping to track down the Fortnite Stalkbox locations, there’s more than one of them on the map right now. While it is a Mythic item, it isn’t a one-of-a-kind thing. Most Mythics have been limited to one, but this is a Collab Mythic. These are often just using the Mythic rarity for the sake of it. Not because it really fits the Mythic model. However, there are plenty of opportunities to get the Fortnite Stalkbox.

You can find some conveniently located in the new Fortnitemares spots on the map. This is where each of them are:

  • Creepy Camps
  • North of where the Hive previously was
  • Supernova Academy
  • Gas Station behind the Power Station
  • The car park below the snowy mountain, south of First Order Base
  • Gas Station North of Pumped Pass
  • Bus Stop south of mountain by O.X.R HQ
  • Building Below Harmony Hills
  • Viney Shafts
  • Outlaw Oasis
  • South of Rangers Ruin
  • The Dam
  • Bus stop west of the dam
  • Buildings North of Kappa Kappa Factory
  • Colored Fields West of Kappa Kappa Factory
  • Kappa Kappa Factory
  • East of Demon’s Debris
  • Demon’s Debris
  • Mountains East of Demon’s Debris
  • Canyon Crossing
  • Shogun’s Soltiude
  • Building that used to have guaranteed Rare Chest north of Shogun’s Solitude

As you can see, theres actually tons of Fortnite Stalkbox locations at the moment! But there’s a bit of a condition to be aware of. These are all of the locations, but not all are active at once. A good number of them are active. But you might have to try more than one.

You can tell if you’ve found one by the sound, or the audio visualizer indicator if you use the best Fortnite settings. Youll hear a ringing, which is pretty hard to miss. That indicates it’s an active Stalkbox.

That’s the Stalkbox Locations Fortnite has right now. They could move around in the future. But since we’re not expecting much to change with the update schedule, this is likely where they’ll sit for the duration! Using it can give you a big advantage in Fortnite this season though.

What Does the Fortnite Stalkbox Do?

Once you track down one of the Stalkbox locations Fortnite has, you can enter the box by using the interact key! It then transforms you entirely! It’s basically like the old disguise boxes we used to see around boss POIs in older Fortnite seasons. The Stalkbox has you enter, gives you a disguise, and kicks you back out. Although, it doesn’t transform you into a henchman.

Instead, it transforms you into the Fortnite Ghostface skin. You can toggle this on or off though! Whenever you equip the Ghostface Mythic item, you’ll take on the skin’s appearance. Take it off and your character goes back to normal. You don’t have to wait through the whole animation to transform each time either. It happens once when you first enter, after that it’s instant. What exactly does the Fortnite Stalkbox give you though?

Ghostface Mythic Item

Once you transform into Ghostface for the first time, you’ll get his mythic knife as a weapon! This has a few uses:

  • Scans – The alt use for it, is to scan. This is quite a fun little animation where Ghostface uses a 90s phone, like in the source material he’s from. It marks all enemies in the area around you.
  • Melee Attack – The other side of it. This is a melee combo attack. You strike with the knife. It does okay damage, it’s your typical melee combo item. It’ll be spammed pretty widely, but can be beaten by building a little up to block things off or using a shotgun.
  • Stamina – It transforms your stamina into a purple bar, meaning you can run around for longer. Much better for mobility than the melee Fortnite Stalkbox use.

The Ghostface Mythic item’s best use is infinite scans. Usually, a scanner item has limited uses. This does have a cooldown, but it’s quite short. You likely won’t run out. It basically lets you scan on a permanent basis.

The mobility is quite a big help too. It’s likely best paired as just a support tool. Bust it out to move or to scan. You don’t have to just run at people to slash with the knife, your shotgun still works fine.

If used right, the Ghostface Mythic in Fortnite is one of the best weapons this season! But since you have to track down the Stalkbox locations Fortnite has first, it is a bit limited. Keep an eye on the map of spawns and you can find one of these Mythics in each game though!
