What are the most expensive Fortnite skins? Either in V-Bucks, or for a much higher price, actual money on the secondary market? Over the years we’ve seen tons of different outfits added. Including a load of exclusive skins which aren’t available officially anymore.
Which skin attracts the biggest price in the entire game? Most skins are available for a smaller, standard amount. It varies if it’s a collab or the features it has, but rarely does the item shop rotation come with a price increase. With the Battle Pass, you get quite a lot for just 1,000 V-Bucks. Then there’s extra skins available alongside hardware or other purchases. But some of these skins have become really rare in the years since. Meaning that players are willing to spend quite a bit of real money to unlock them!
While most Fortnite skins have similar prices, players buying and selling skins (while it is against Epic’s rules) attach their own prices to them. Having a ton of older Battle Pass skins might not have cost much originally, but it can add a lot to your Fortnite locker value. If you’re looking for the most valuable Fortnite skins, this is them. The most expensive Fortnite skins:

The first of the most expensive Fortnite skins. This one came with an Xbox One S. These console bundles are often a skin you get with a bigger purchase, making them rarer. This one is more recent so not the most valuable, but it is still on the rarer side.

Ikonik is another of the most expensive Fortnite skins which is from a bundle. This one cost as much as $1,500 on first release. It’s worth even more on the secondary market too. It was originally bundled with a Samsung Galaxy S10. It’s petty well known as a rare Fortnite skin too.

It’s kind of weird to think that a collab this big has managed to become quite rare. But the Travis Scott skins haven’t been back in a very long time. The artist doesn’t work with Epic anymore, and the skins can’t come back until he gives permission again. It’s made it one of the most expensive skins in Fortnite.

This one has also become rare. Kind of like some of the others on this list though, it isn’t the same being the rarest Fortnite skins as the most expensive. But since these Fotnite collab skins are so popular, some players will pay for them. Both make the list.

This is one of the best known Fortnite skins for being hard to get. It was sold with physical hardware, so incredibly expensive. It did accidentally come to the item shop though. Honor Guard isn’t something that can come back though. It’s locked away and adds a lot of Fortnite account value to your locker. There is a recolor of it which is pretty easy to get though.

One of the most expensive Fortnite skins in 2025 is the Royale Bomber. This is one of the PlayStation exclusive skins. But rather than being part of the PSPlus free downloads, it was only available in part of a special Fortnite PS4 Bundle. Just because Fortnite is a digital download, doesn’t mean there aren’t consoles with exclusive items. The Royale Bomber came as a code for buying the PS4.
Now, the Royale Bomber skin is one of the most expensive Fortnite skins. It’s quite difficult to find today since the bundle was discontinued. It’s an older skin too. So it’s not more elaborately designed. It really is closer to a default than the stuff you’d see today. But it’s got a high value now.

Galaxy is one of the most expensive Fortnite skins that a lot of players still remember for its design! It’s a skin which features a Galaxy effect all over, really quite striking. It was one of the most unique skins made at that point in Fortnite’s seasons. There wasn’t anything quite like it. Until this skin got popular and epic made a ton more. This is the original though!
This one was available alongside a purchase of a Samsung Galaxy phone. It still costs quite a bit second hand.

Another early skin which is now one of the most expensive Fortnite skins. This one was part of a pack bundle with an Xbox, so quite expensive first time around. It was the skin, a masked character in all purple and black. Plus a backbling and glider. As a pack, it also came with V-Bucks! But now it’s no longer available you’ll have to pay a lot more to buy it second hand.

One of the most expensive Fortnite skins came through buying a console bundle. Double Helix was originally available as a free Fortnite code alongside a Nintendo Switch. So quite expensive at first too! Although, if you wanted a Switch anyway then this is a great way to collect an extra skin too.
On the second-hand market, this is the most expensive Fortnite skins from a code at the moment. It’s not the most fun design. It’s kind of just a general hoodie and mask, there’s tons of very similar skins. But how rare it is has made it a valuable skin. We might get one of these for the Fortnite Switch 2 release eventually, but it’ll be a different skin to Double Helix if it does come.

These two skins have been the center of more than their fair share of speculation from fans. They were two of the earliest skins added to the game. Players had to play early, play a lot (there was an XP requirement to buy them), and pay V-Bucks. But since they were technically item shop skins, they have come back.
When Fortnite OG returned as a proper game mode, players had a chance to buy them again. But players who owned the original versions got something as a consolation prize. A new OG style for Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper!
It’s a bit different to the most expensive Fortnite skins in some ways, since it’s just a style. Along with Ghoul Trooper though, it’s maybe the most exclusive skin style in the game. And probably always will be.
