Where is Krusty in Fortnite?

The latest Fortnite season is completely focused on the Simpsons, and it wouldn’t be the Simpsons without Krusty the Clown. He’s nearly as iconic as the main family themselves. The character is coming to the game as a new skin in the Fortnite Item Shop. However, they’re already on the map early. With a Krusty in Fortnite boss fight available for players. It’s also where you’ll get one of the best Fortnite weapons this season too.

Krusty in Fortnite is definitely one of the top bosses to find. Take him down, and you’ll get the only exotic weapon in the game! We’ve had season after season bursting with these ridiculous weapons, but things are back to being a bit better balanced now. There is still one in the game though, and it’s also pretty much the only weapon at launch that has a unique mechanic behind it. It gives players balloons. But has a wide area of effect, letting players use them to annoy other people, or just to get some mobility.

Where is Krusty in Fortnite?

Krusty is a boss wandering the map in Fortnite right now… but not in a specific spot. For all the previous Fortnite seasons, we’ve had bosses spawning in a single spot. But for this season that’s changed. They have random spawn points instead.

If you’re looking for Krusty in Fortnite, he can be roughly anywhere. But most likely to be around the center of the map. He’s been spotted all over Springfield so far though. It’ll just depend on what game you’re in and the RNG!

Beyond that, Krusty won’t even spawn immediately. So, you can’t even search for him off spawn. The Clown waits until a few circles into a game. This means the bosses aren’t given to a player who lands at the same spot consistently. Instead, it’s just down to good luck. You can’t really use a definitive strategy to find Krusty in Fortnite beyond good luck though.

Fighting the Krusty Boss

If you get lucky and track down the Krusty Fortnite boss, thankfully it’s not a difficult fight. You don’t have to deal with unique attacks or different patterns. It just fights like a normal NPC in the game. All you need to do is shoot them briefly, and they’ll die. The big health bar is a bit overblown given their limited ability to defend themselves.

The Krusty fight does have some difficulty compared to the fight with Evil Homer or the others. The Krusty boss has a weapon which can apply balloons to you, which he uses. You might end up floating in the air in this fight. The upside is you don’t have to worry about fall damage. These balloons just let you land safely on the ground.

What Does He Drop?

If you can take down Krusty in Fortnite, there’s some of the best loot in the game waiting for you. Players will get the Krusty version of Mr Blasty! That’s already the best gun in the game. But this version applies balloons to anyone near where it hits.

This is great or giving you and your team more mobility. But it deals good damage too. Not to mention it has offensive abilities by lifting your opponents slowly into the air, where they’re an easier target.

The balloon gun has been the breakout weapon of the early part of the season. If it didn’t come from Krusty in Fortnite, it would be a must-carry. Since it’s based on RNG though, you can’t guarantee you’ll find it every game.

Krusty Fortnite Skin

That’s how the Krusty Fortnite boss works, but what about the skin itself? Well, since he’s on the map you can always go through the steps of killing Krusty then using the Mystique skin to transform into him! That feature has kept Mystique as one of the best Fortnite skins. But if you want to actually get him you’ll need to wait a little bit.

A lot of the Fortnite Simpsons skins are in the Battle Pass, but some are for the item shop instead. Krusty is one of the item Shop skins. So we’ve been waiting for him to show up since the season launched. It’s going to come to the shop within the next couple of days according to leakers. Along with other cosmetics like a Clown car!
