Who are the best Fortnite players? In 2025, we’ve seen the game reach a new level in its meta. The FNCS finals are just getting tougher and tougher. Which came to a head in the shocking FNCS Global Championship. We saw the power rankings for players completely upended. But who are the stand out players?

Top 10 Fortnite Players in September 2025

There are loads of different ways we could decide the top Fortnite players. From those who made the biggest impact in the game’s past meta and development, to those on top right now. but who are the best active players? Since Fortnite is played across different regions, most servers tend to have their own set of best Fortnite players. But by looking at their skills, tournament placements, and more, we can come up with a list of the best Fortnite players.

These are the top Fortnite players in 2025 and beyond:

10 Best Fortnite Players

10. Ajerss

Alongside pollo and Acorn, Ajerss has dominated two out of our three FNCS Majors this season. And looks set to be one of be top 2 competing teams at the LAN. Ajerss, Pollo, and Acorn are a fantastically polished team. Consistently playing as a united force, seizing high ground, playing carefully, and winning games. But Ajerss stands out beyond this new grouping.

9. Kahanada

Khanada might be a bit of a more left field pick, but after Major 3 and the Global Championship he could have secured his spot as one of the best Fortnite players. He even placed the highest out of NAC teams in the Global Championship.

Playing alongside Rapid and Boltz, his trio had a breakout season for Major 3 and the Global Championship. They performed very well in the FNCS regional Major, starting in the groups. Where they seized high ground and made incredibly creative use of an exotic shockwave pistol. They carried this on in the Finals too. While other Trios grabbed a bit more attention, these three were some of the most consistent.

In the LAN, they took home the first game on the low ground. While the high dominated all tournament long, Khanada took down everyone with a minigun to secure the Victory Royale.

One thing that’s worth highlighting Khanada alone for, is that someone at Epic seems to hate him. Season after season Khanada’s gameplan is thrown off by a change to the game halfway through the tournament. Often destroying his Finals and forcing him to improvise. That he so frequently places so highly is testament to his adaptability. After Bugha’s bugs in the finals, he’s now also the only player to make all FNCS Finals.

8. MariusCOW

A newer entry of the back of their performance in Chapter 6 has been MariusCOW, Pixie, and Vanyak. While some are older players to the game, Marius only started playing in 2022. They won Major 2, placed high in Major 3, and took second in the LAN.

Ultimately, it was only a few points on the final day that decided things. MariusCOW is only 18, but was able to keep the performance up at the Majors and in the LAN. Where much more established players faltered This kind of win early sets you up for a strong year.

7. Pixie

Pixie is another part of the Trio that took second at the Global Championship. Only 18 years old, he’s achieved huge things given his time in the game. The Sweedish player has tons of major wins to his name. Now playing for Team HavoK, he’s looking like one of the stronger players for next year.

6. Pollo

Pollo and Peterbot may have split after their three back-to-back wins, but it was Pollo who made it four on his own. He won Major 1 along with Ajerss and Acorn, establishing one of the longest runs of FNCS wins in the game’s history. Definitely a feat for one of the best Fortnite players.

He nearly took 2 out of 3 Majors. Their Trio was largely only held back from victory in 2025 by antics like getting their rotation route camped by Peterbot for 10 minutes just to deny them points. Or a disastrous hot drop-in game 10 that lost their lead. Even with this, they only missed out by 3 points. They were clearly the strongest trio in the region in Major 3. The Global Championship went rougher

though.
After the OCE teams around them turned out to be too slow looting to actually trade any surge, Pollo’s Trio was in a bit of a mess. Out of the NAC teams though, he had some interesting strategies on Day 2. Getting aggressive, pushing teams off height, it didn’t pay off in terms of points but it proved Pollo isn’t anyone’s support act. Out of his whole region, his Trio was the only one to try and take the bad performance at LAN into his own hands.

5. Peterbot

The Fortnite player held up as the best right now is clearly Peterbot, or at least it was until the disaster of a LAN. Before this, he was a clear contender for the GOAT of the game.

Peterbot’s performance at the LAN was rough. After messing up claiming a POI, Peterbot ended up triple contested. Unable to challenge the best spot like normal since Queasy shared a coach with Peterbot. Instead, he had to scavenge for loot outside of POIs and generally had a bit of a wasted weekend.

Next year, Peterbot is back with Pollo. He’s still undeniably one of the best Fortnite players mechanically. Hopefully such a poor performance will bring the player’s ego under control enough for the pair to really lock in next year.

4. Vanyak3kk

Another EU player who absolutely popped off at the LAN is Vanyak3kk. The Gentle Mates player has been active since 2021, in that time winning a second FNCS and taking 2nd place at the LAN. They also took 3rd at the final Major in EU Fortnite region and the same high result in Major 1. This puts them as the strongest Trio in Europe and among the strongest in the world too.

One thing that’s kept Vanyak further down rankings until recently was the last LAN, Vanyak couldn’t attend due to visa issues. He asked for the next one to be in Europe, and got exactly that. Going on to win. With their performance in 2025 destroying the winners of 2024, a lot of players are wondering how differently 2024 could have gone if Vanyak has been able to attend.

3. Merstach

Merstach, in the last year of competitive, played with SwizzY and Queasy. The Trio had a performance which absolutely deserved the win.

They took three Victory Royales on the first day of the tournament. Amazingly, with the same tactics every time. Play it safe. Get surge. Get the high ground. It was enough. Somehow no one in the lobby managed to beat this, few even attempted to push them off of the high ground. These three wins gave them such a lead it was almost a foregone conclusion on Day 2. While things did tighten back up, Merstach’s Trio held on to their lead. They’re easily the best Fortnite players after the Global Championship.

2. SwizzY

Also in the reigning champion Trio is SwizzY. The 19-year-old has been winning FNCS events since Chapter 2! Originally playing in Asia, he made the switch to Europe. He’s been on a huge run ever since. Winning another FNCS in Chapter 3, then in 2024, and now the year-ending LAN.

SizzY’s multiple FNCS wins show how far the player has climbed since beginning on a smaller server. Hr’s even excelled at those rare solo or unconventional tournaments, like the Esports World Cup event in 2024. Now a LAN winner, he’ll be an imposing presence in next year’s lobbies.

1. Queasy

In number 1, it has to be the IGL of the winning FNCS Global Championship team, Queasy.

One of the best Fortnite players of all time, Queasy might have cemented his position with that huge weekend. Even before the most recent season, Queasy has been a fantastic player. He came second in the 2022 invitational, same for the 2024 Global Championship. Now winning the 2025 LAN. He’s maybe the most consistent LAN player in the game.

Next year, Queasy is back with an old Duo and looks set to continue his strong performance. The player is going to be one of the most frightening in lobbies for Chapter 7 and beyond.

Honourable Mentions

Flickzy

Flickzy is one of the best Fortnite players in Chapter 6. He’s coming into the FNCS Global LAN roster after a 2nd place finish in Major 3 for Europe and a 6th place finish in Major 2. This Trio have proven one of the most consistent in Europe this season, which is hard considering just how competitive the Europe server region is.

Acorn

In the NAC server region, the last three majors have been dominated by the two trios formed after the Peterbot Pollo split, but Pollo’s success in Major 1 and near win in Major 3 is as much about Acorn and Ajerss. The Duo joined the LAN World Champion to form a new team. They might not always have the flashiest plays, but they’re consistent and are the best Fortnite players in most lobbies.

In the last Major, all three of them played fantastically. Winning multiple games, and only really missing out on the win thanks to some underhanded tactics. But ultimately that’s part of the game. While they got beat off spawn once, they were clearly the most consistent team in the lobby as well as winning Major 1. Acorn and Ajerss are very much stars of their Trio too.

Cold

Cold is the team with Peterbot but is every bit as strong of a fragger. The Trios playstyle is dominated by Peterbot and Cold, both being completely unafraid to storm the dense final circles to pick up every possible kill. Frequently, this risky style means Peterbot dies fairly early and it’s up to Cold to clutch up, which we’ve seen him do in game after game.
