What is the Esports World Cup Club Championship?
The Esports World Cup Club Championship is a separate competition for esports teams, which allows them to win additional prize pools on top of the winnings from individual tournaments. Based on the finishing position in each tournament, the representing organization will earn points for the Esports World Cup Club Championship standings. At the end of the seven-week event, the 24 teams with the most amount of points will win a share of the $27 million prize pool allocated. The distribution is as follows:
If there’s one thing Davide knows better than his morning coffee, it’s League of Legends. He has spent more than 10 years playing the game. When he’s not writing, he’s probably playing padel or pretending to work while actually watching esports tournaments.
