What are the best Fortnite Winterfest skins? The holiday event has been a part of Fortnite for years. In that time, we’ve seen tons of themed skins. From Christmas versions of major Fortnite characters, to completely original Fortnite collabs for the holidays. The Fortnite Winterfest skins are some of the best in the game.
At Winterfest, we’ve seen loads of different approaches to skins. From original skins that capture the iconography of Christmas, to collabs of major holiday pop culture figures. With a heavier focus on that secondary IP category in more recent seasons. But there’s some fun Fortnite Winterfest skins from across the game’s events. These are the highlights we’ve seen so far:

A Fortnite Winterfest skin that’s a bit of a weird one. It was given out for free, but is particularly close to a paid one. It’s pretty much just the same paid Bushranger skin, with a Santa hat. Not the most revolutionary, but pretty memorable for being such a weird skin.

Next is one of the Fortnite collabs to come as part of the Fortnite Winterfest skins. This one was with the Nightmare Before Christmas. We’ve since had a full Santa Jack style added too, but any of the Jack skins work.

A pretty recent addition. Lexa was the first of the Fortnite anime skins added back in Chapter 2. Now, she’s had new outfits to match a few different seasons, like Halloween Fortnite skins, and now a Winterfest skin.

Next is another recent addition, the Snow Miku skin added for the most recent Winterfest. This is a fun different color design and take on the vocaloid.

We’ve had loads of free Fortnite skins over the years, but this is one you still see regularly in lobbies. Frozen Peely, a version of the banana Chapter 1 character. He’s one of the most popular outfits in the game and Frozen Peely let everyone play as a version of him.

Cozy Jonesy is one of the best Fortnite Winterfest skins. Originally from Chapter 2, it’s a Jonesy in a Christmas outfit. Kind of surprising it took two Chapters of Fortnite seasons before we got one of these but apparently it did!

Reina is another anime cell-shading skin that’s an original character. It’s an anime Fortnite skin, but in a Santa themed outfit and Reindeer antlers. She even has an eye patch, with one red eye standing in for a nose.

Codename Elf is one of the best Fortnite Winterfest skins and most iconic! It’s an older one. It came from earlier in Chapter 1. A default skin dressed up like an elf, as was the style for skins back then. But as an older skin it’s one of the most recognizable as one of the best Fortnite Winterfest skins.

Merry Marauder is one of the most iconic Fortnite skins. A gingerbread man. Who can get burnt from gunfire, it’s a pretty fun design. This one became heavily association with a Fortnite streamer in the years since its release. Even popping up as a backbling for that Icon skin eventually. But the OG Merry Marauder is still one of the most fun Fortnite designs.

Crackshot is another older Fortnite Winterfest skins. It’s a nutcracker style character. Quite a fun design, with a creepier face and different dimensions to older skins.
It’s from the period when Fortnite was getting wider with the skin designs, embracing wackier characters. Crackshot is always fun to see return for the Fortnite Winterfest updates over the years.
Those are the top 10, but what about the rest of the Fortnite Winterfest skins? These are all of them that we’ve seen over all seven Chapters of the game so far.

Those are all of the Fortnite Winterfest skins so far! There’s even more coming this year, so keep an eye on the Fortnite updates over Chapter 7’s first big holiday.
