The Six Invitational 2026 is here, which means it’s time to preview some groups. The Six Invitational will throw together some of the best teams in Rainbow Six from across the globe. This yearly event is the pinnacle of Siege esports each year, and this time we head to Paris to cap off another year of Siege esports.

Rainbow Six Siege Six Invitational 2026 Group A Preview

In this article, we’ll take a look at the Six Invitational 2026 Group A, which features BNK FEARX, M80, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Heretics (former Project Zero), and Weibo Gaming. We’ll go over everything you need to know about the five teams that will make up Group A.

Six Invitational 2026 Group A Teams

BNK FEARX

FEARX enter Group A representing APAC after having a good 2025 overall without being overly flashy. FEARX finished 11th in the Global Standings, thanks to good points in the first league phase and the Regional Finals, and FEARX were able to land a spot in Paris.

FEARX’s only notable appearance on the international stage in 2025 was the RE:L0:AD 2025, where they placed 5th-8th, with the South Korean side not making another appearance at an event outside of APAC. Their only 1st place was in the APAC North Stage 1, winning 2-0 against Dplus. The best placing in a tournament was in the Regional Finals for the APAC region, where they placed third, losing to Elevate in the Lower Bracket final.

FEARX will be one of the underdog sides at the Six Invitational, and certainly, given the sides in their group, they’ll have a lot to do.

M80

Safe to say it’s been a good year for M80, winning the BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025 against Team Falcons ended it on a high, securing their spot at Six Invitational. The side had a poor showing at the Six Invitational 2025, losing at the 13th-16th stage to CAG Osaka. They also failed to get out of the RE:L0:AD 2025 group stage, but their domestic form was much better. A good end to the year, however, has set the Brazilian side up for a positive start to 2026.

Moving into the Six Invitational 2026, M80 will be one of the favourites, and certainly will be when it comes to Group A. They’ve had a large break in competitive matches, having last played in a 1-2 loss to Shopify Rebellion in the North America League Regional Finals.

M80 will be one of the favourites to win Group A as a Major winner in 2025; they bring form with them and face up against sides that have overall performed decently well in 2025.

Ninjas in Pyjamas

Ninjas in Pyjamas were one of the last sides to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris, having sat at joint 16th in the Global Standings, joint points with Chiefs Esports Club, who failed to qualify.

Unlike many other sides in Group A, Ninjas in Pyjamas had a good 2025, which is surprising considering how close they were to not qualifying for Paris. 5th place in the Regional Finals, alongside a 4th place in Stage 2 and a 3rd place in Stage 1, were good showings. However, it’s fair to say that the 5th-8th place at the Esports World Cup 2025 and the 7th-8th showing at the BLAST R6 Major Munich are probably a better overall reflection.

Ninjas in Pyjamas will be outsiders for Group A, but they are a side capable of an upset, which should put the rest of the group on high alert.

Team Heretics (former Project Zero)

Team Heretics comes in as the outsiders of Group A. Qualifying for the Six Invitational via the Europe and MENA LCQ after beating Twisted Minds in the Grand Final 2-1.

The Six Invitational will be a huge test for Team Heretics, with the rosters’ first chance to make a major step up. They have already locked in their spot for the Challengers Series 2026 in the new Siege Esports setup for 2026-2027. With only one side being knocked out in the Group Stage in Paris, Team Heretics has an amazing chance to make a statement in a group where they could cause an upset or two.

Weibo Gaming

Weibo Gaming secured its spot by winning the APAC Regional Finals. Weibo Gaming were a dominant side in the APAC region, winning the APAC Stage 1, Stage 2, and topping the Group Stage before claiming the aforementioned win in the Regional Finals.

On the international stage, a 5th-8th finish at the Esports World Cup 2025 secured a sizeable prize pool, while they failed to get out of the Group Stage at the BLAST R6 Major Munich. The Six Invitational 2026 will give Weibo the chance to make up for the wrongs on the international stage at the start of 2026. If they can bring the domestic form to the international stage, they will be a formidable foe.
