Weibo Gaming Rainbow Six Siege X secured the Asia Pacific League 2025 Regional Finals victory after a 2-1 series victory over TEAM. It was a repeat of the Upper Bracket Final, where Weibo Gaming came away victors in a fairly clean 2-0 sweep. The Brazilian roster in ELEVATE just couldn’t get into the series, though they had a chance to get revenge.

Weibo Gaming Rainbow Six Claim Asia Pacific League 2025 Regional Finals Title

While ELEVATE came close in this rematch, Weibo pulled out the glamour in the final map of the series. The victory cements Weibo as the top team in the Asia Pacific region, as they look to take that momentum into the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris. In total, the APL is sending five sides to the Six Invitational already, with another one set to join via the regions’ Last Chance Qualifier event. Chiefs Esports Club, Daystar, and CAG Osaka missed out on points, with Chiefs losing out to Ninjas In Pyjamas despite having the same number of total points.

Weibo Gaming Rainbow Six Secure the Title

It was a good start for ELEVATE, who took a 0-3 lead in the first map (Labs) as they looked strong on the defence initially. However, Weibo Gaming took a tactical pause; as a result, they secured the next two rounds, though a strong bounce back from ELEVATE saw them retain the lead and end the half 2-5 in the lead.
As the sides swapped, Weibo won the first three rounds to bring the scores even, putting all the pressure on ELEVATE to secure the next two rounds and attempt to win the first map. ELEVATE did indeed grab the first, but Weibo were able to hit back, bringing the game to 6-6 and forcing overtime. Weibo managed to hold firm, winning their map pick to secure the first map victory of the series.

A strong start from Weibo in the second map, as they ended the half in the lead, though starting on defence, it gave them a strong lead on Bank. Once on the defensive themselves, ELEVATE were able to carve out a lead. Taking the early rounds and bringing the map to a map point with a 4-6 lead. Weibo managed to secure the next round to bring it to 5-6; however, ELEVATE clutched up to win the match point to secure the second map, taking the series to a decider.

The decider was a tense affair, but on the final map, it was Weibo that took a huge 4-1 advantage, playing on the attack first. Weibo Gaming kept up the pressure in the second half, with ELEVATE having no chance to fight back.
While the score made it look dominant, it was an incredibly close series overall, and the last map, especially, was closer than it looked. Weibo Gaming Rainbow Six secured the title, alongside $52,000 in prize money for claiming first spot, and they also took the instant qualification to the Six Invitational, though they had that secured already on points.

ELEVATE Improve

It was a much better series for ELEVATE than the Upper Bracket Final was; however, they came away defeated once again. As it was said on the cast, the final map of the series was the closest 7-2 map we’ve seen. The Brazilian roster was unable to claim victory, but they improved massively on the performance the day before. ELEVATE have a spot at the Six Invitational secured at least anyway, which means they can rest up as they prepare for Paris in 2026.

Overall, ELEVATE will be disappointed, but they can take a lot from their performances during the APL finals thus far. Credit to ELEVATE as well, who are playing in a region they are not from, making it difficult for them to attract the fan power most other sides would fight for a title.

With that series over, just North America is left to play for a spot at the Six Invitational. With Europe and MENA, South America, and now APL complete, the teams preparing for Paris are almost fully locked in. We still have a full regional round of Last Chance Qualifier events to go, however, so we still have four more sides waiting to lock in their spots for the Six Invitational, and with these events starting up already from next weekend, there’s a lot more Siege Esports in December.

We’ll have coverage of everything going on across the regions as we head into the Six Invitational in Paris in February 2026.
