With the Six Invitational set to get underway in February and the South American League regional Grand Finals having closed, there is just one more chance for teams to qualify for the event. Enter the Six Invitational South America Last Chance Qualifier.

Six Invitational 2026: South America Last Chance Qualifier Preview

From South America, four sides have already qualified for the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris on points: FaZe Clan, FURIA, w7m Esports, and Ninjas in Pyjamas will all be on the way to Paris.

As for the Last Chance Qualifiers for South America, eight sides have secured their spots. Unlike many other regions at the time of writing, we already know the opening games; however, the exact format is not yet known.

Team Liquid

2025 has been a bit of a year to forget for Team Liquid Rainbow Six. Following a 2024 that saw them end in the Grand Final in 2023, a top 4 at Manchester 2024, and then another top 4 at the Esprots World Cup 2024, 2025 has felt like a bit of a let down for the roster.

The roster started their South American Regional Grand Finals run well, beating LOUD 2-0, but a 2-1 win to Ninjas in Pyjamas kept their dreams alive, with just one more win against FaZe Clan being required to send them to Paris. However, it was a game too far, as FaZe Clan, who would go on to win the event, would be a match too far for Team Liquid. As a result, it will make Team Liquid the clear favourites given their showing at the most recent event. With this being the final spot on the line, it’s all to play for.

LOUD

A mixed year for LOUD, who had a few good moments but failed to make it onto the international stage. The Last Chance Qualifier gives them a chance to have one more crack at it, though in 2026.

They will have a solid start, facing off against SuperNova in the first raid, before playing the winner of Black Dragons vs Zero Zero Sete. With it being double-elimination, they have a second chance, though they’ll be looking to not need that until at least the Upper Bracket Grand Final, when they’ll be expected to play off against Team Liquid as things stand.

Speaking of Team Liquid, LOUD’s record isn’t great against Liquid, having won just one of their last four encounters, though crucially, that was one of only two Best-of-three’s which will give LOUD some confidence going into any potential series between the two.

Black Dragons

Much like LOUD, Black Dragons have qualified on points, crucial, zero points. It’s a weird quirk of the point system, and how poorly spread out the South American region has had most of the points fall to the same six sides.

Regardless, Black Dragons are here, and they have as good a chance as anyone to push on from here. They will likely play LOUD first, whom they have a 1-1 record against in 2025, though they’ve not played in a Best-of-three yet. As for Team Liquid, it’s not a fixture that’s gone well for Black Dragons, having lost all five of their last five meetings.

2GAME Esports – Zero Zero Sete – Elevate Academy – LFO (formerly ENX) – SuperNova Team

The remaining five come from the Tier 2 scene.  The two most notable names will be SuperNova Team, and, of course, Elevate Academy.

With Elevate’s main roster having secured its spot at the Six Invitational 2026, it’s not 100% clear what would happen if the Academy side also qualified. Ubisoft states that an academy roster cannot be eligible alongside the main roster. Though it’s unlikely an academy roster would qualify, it did happen already just last year when the Razzah Company Academy qualified. Time will tell.

SuperNova Team will be the next “top” side from the Tier 2 rosters. Having had a good 2025 overall, they will be one of the sides looking to make a name for themselves in these Last Chance Qualifier matches.

They start against LOUD, which will be one of the toughest starts they could face. As for the remaining three, it will be tough regardless. Zero Zero Sete and 2GAME Esports will face off against fellow Tier 2 sides first, giving them the best chance of at least making it to the second round of the Upper Bracket.
