With the Six Invitational set to get underway in February and the Asia Pacific League regional Grand Finals having closed, there is just one more chance for teams to qualify for the event. Enter the Six Invitational Asia Pacific Last Chance Qualifier.

Six Invitational 2026: Asia Pacific Last Chance Qualifier Preview

From the Asia Pacific, five sides have already qualified for the Six Invitational 2026 in Paris on points: Weibo Gaming, Elevate, FEARX, ENTERPRISE Esports, and Dplus. They’ll all be on the way to Paris.

As for the Last Chance Qualifiers for Asia Pacific, eight sides have secured their spots, with Asia Pacific working slightly differently to other regions. Each area of the Asia Pacific will send two sides each, with the winner overall taking the last spot in Paris.

Asia Pacific Last Chance Qualifier Date and Format

The event kicks off between January 16th and January 18th, with a double-elimination format for the bracket. All matches will be played in a Best-of-three format for the entire LCQ.

The Qualified Teams

The Six Invitational 2026 Asia Pacific Last Chance Qualifiers will have nine teams in the final event. You can see the list of sides below:

  • Global Standings: CAG Osaka
  • Global Standings: Daystar
  • Global Standings: Chiefs Esports
  • Six Invitational Closed Qualifier: ENTER FORCE.36
  • Six Invitational Closed Qualifier: NoCapsR6
  • Six Invitational Closed Qualifier: Team Anios
  • GVC Pioneer Series (China): All Gamers
  • GVC Pioneer Series (China): Four Angry Men

The two Open Qualifier events will take place before the main event, with Qualifier 1 having occurred on December 13th-14th and the second on December 20th-21st. Each event will feature 32 sides, and is open to anyone from the region to register.

A Closer Look at the Teams

Chiefs Esports Club

Chiefs Esports Club will be feeling very raw, having missed out on Six Invitational 2026 automatic qualification on points despite having the same points (450) as Ninjas in Pyjamas. The sides’ loss to FEARX in the Lower Bracket Semifinals of the Asia Pacific Regional Grand Finals, which saw Weibo Gaming claim the crown, was a heartbreaking moment for the roster.

The good news for Chiefs Esports Club is that they have another chance to make it to Paris still.

Chiefs Esports Club will go into the event as the favourites, given their good run at the Regional Grand Finals, and having beaten both CAG Osaka and Daystar in their most recent Best-of-three series, momentum will be on their side.

The other five sides are unknown; however, though given the gap between Tier 1 and Tier 2 sides, it would be a major upset if they were to fall to one of them. With the format being double-elimination, Chiefs Esports Club will have space for one mistake at the very least, and it being Bo3 avoids one bad game ruining the entire series.

Daystar

A strange year for Daystar, who earned a lot of their points at the start of the year, before failing to make ground at the two final point-scoring events of the year. They were not at the Regional Finals; they did attend the Asia Open Qualifier, and while they did not need to win it, it was worrying to see them fall to 4th place. They likely entered for the free practice, though they’ll need to up their performances at the closed Asia Pacific Qualifier.

For Daystar, this final event gives them one last chance to make it to a major event for the 2025 – 2026 season, before we head into the new season of Siege and the new format. The new format is set to reward consistent performances, which could be a worry for a side like Daystar that might have peaked too early.

CAG Osaka

CAG Osaka and Chiefs Esports Club were very much neck-and-neck for the final points qualification spot, and the two met in the first round of the Lower Bracket. It was a 2-1 win for Chiefs Esports Club, meaning CAG Osaka knew the closed qualifier was their last chance to make it to Paris in 2026.

Despite not being the top points-scoring side for the region of those left, they are the side that had the best 2025 of the bunch. A second-place finish at the RE:L0:AD 2025 and a 9th-12th finish at the Six Initational 2025 saw them bring home a solid prize pool.

ENTER FORCE.36 – NoCapsR6 – Team Anios – All Gamers – Four Angry Men

The remaining sides come from the Tier 2, and it’s a mixed bag for sure. The most notable will be NoCapR6, who will play in the upcoming APAC Cup – 2025, alongside FEARX, CAG, and ENTERPRISE Esports. A good performance here would put NoCapsR6 in a strong position.

ENTER FORCE.36 will be the other standout, winning the regional event, while Team Anios also won the OCE event. All Gamers secured the win in the Pioneer Series in China, with Four Angry Men likely the outsiders coming second in the same event.
