Fnatic Rainbow Six has announced that it is dropping its current roster due to poor results. Fnatic, which is part of the Esports partner programme set up by Ubisoft, will now take steps to explore Rainbow Six before deciding what to do next.

For now, Fnatic are not leaving the scene; they will “explore our next steps in the title.” Though the entire roster will be let go, including players Tom “Deapek” Pieksma, Jesse “Jeggz” Ojanen, Leonardo “Sarks” Sarchi, Antonio “CroqSon” Vázquez, and Samuel “Wizard” Morgan.

Team coach Tristant “Saethus” Savage added on Twitter/X, “My priority is making sure that all 5 players are looked after and have a secure future in the title/their lives because I know how talented they are. Very unsure on what is next for myself/FNC – looking forward to the future, and finding homes for the players before anything.”

Fnatic Rainbow Six Depart

Fnatic Rainbow Six play in the Europe and MENA region of the game, and recently took part in the Qualifier 1 and 2 events to get a spot at the Last Chance Qualifier series for Europe and MENA. Fnatic lost in both series to Twisted Minds, which capped off a pretty terrible year for the UK organisation.

In fact, the organisation ended the European and MENA league stage in 9th place, a position that would set them to be relegated. However, due to its involvement in the R6 Partners programme, they are unable to be relegated, meaning Wolves Esports took the relegation spot instead.

It’s a pretty weird situation for the organisation to find itself in. The R6 Partners Programme also gives them access to a share of skin sales and entry into the RE:L0:AD series event. As for the RE:L0:AD series, Fnatic had a poor showing, losing out in the Group Stage, but at least they get a share of the sales from the Fnatic Mute Bundle, alongside the Charm, Drone, and the Operator Card collection.

What’s Next for Fnatic Rainbow Six

With no place in Paris at the Six Invitational 2026, and their place secure in the Europe and MENA league main event, they won’t be active until at least late March or early April due to the changes to the 2026 -2027 Esports change. Fnatic will now likely spend the next few months deciding what to do next, and they have a fair bit of time to do it.

We don’t think Fnatic will leave the game entirely, with positive changes coming to Rainbow Six Siege X in 2026 and beyond, and more events and increased prize pools. It feels like the best time to invest more in the scene. To get the most out of that, Fnatic will need to perform. While the threat of relegation is no longer an issue due to the Partner Programme, they’ll want to improve on performances if they are to try to compete for a spot at the 2027 Six Invitational.
