As we head into the playoffs and close out the regular season, some teams are standing very close to each other on the leaderboard. ONIC might have an absurd lead in 1st place, but other teams are still fighting for survival. What can we expect this week? Their matches against Alter Ego and Dewa could give either team a boost, but there’s no danger to ONIC.

Bigetron are also probably in for an easy match against Geek Fam ID too. Two teams on opposite ends of the leaderboard this season. Bigetron also have their spot locked in after a great performance so far this season.

EVOs v Natus Vincere has the potential to be a closer match, both are within a small distance of each other on the current standings. As is Dewa and EVOS, it’s this week where this middle of the pack could change a lot. Elsewhere Bigetron V Alter Ego willwil be fun if they can put up a fight, but Bigetron seem far ahead so far.

At the end of this week, the playoffs take over. Only the top six teams move ahead. Right now, that’s ONIC, Bigetron, Alter Ego, EVOS, Dewa United Esports, and Natus Vincere. However, the bottom three of those are in a much more precarious position. Their run in S16 of MLBB esports could end here.

Playoffs Begin Soon

The MLBB ID S16 Week 9 games will complete our regular season. But, we’ll then be able to look ahead to the playoffs. These being at the end of the month and run through the beginning of November.

Their exact position in the playoffs will be determined by how they place in this regular season. Only the top 6 move forward, but the top two highest teams skip Round 1. While the others have an extra round to survive. That will be Bigetron by Vitality and ONIC, who have had an amazing performance in matches like MPL S16 ID Week 8.

The others are a bit more up in the air. EVOS and Dewa are going into MPL S16 ID Week 9 nearly neck-and-neck. So, their performance in these final matches could make a big difference. Natus Vincere will have to hold on this week too if they want to make it into the playoffs at all.
