5) Team Spirit

Starting out, we’ve got Team Spirit. They made the top 4 in the previous MLBB World Championship as well as top 8 in the recent MSC 2025 in EWC. They even took a game against the strongest in the world and made them sweat for the win. They’re clearly a stand out MLBB team in 2025.

The veteran players of Team Spirit, Sawo and Sunsetlover, have played since the start of the MLBB World Championships, M1. They have only missed M4, where EECA didn’t have a slot, but attended every single official international tournament MLBB can offer. With Oneshot and Hiko finally becoming more comfortable with their team, Team Spirit is poised to put the EECA region on the map of top contenders.

4) ONIC ID

ONIC Indonesia is a top contender. With their 5th MPL ID win, they’re on a roll regionally. Internationally though, they’re still a standout and one of the best MLBB teams.

ONIC wasn’t able to make it to group stage last MSC 2024 but they have achieved a top 4 finish this MSC 2025 in EWC. With the grand acquisition of Skylar in their roster, the team is now unstoppable and are now favored to contest in M7 World Championship this 2025.

3) ONIC PH

The current reigning MLBB world champions in the world! They’d be a shoe-in or the best MLBB teams, but they failed to perform this recent MSC 2025. ONIC PH has continued to win tournament after tournament after their M6 win last year until their regional rivals Team Liquid PH stopped them from their tracks. They are still continuing to prove that individually great players can have great chemistry with strong guidance from a stable organization.

Each of their players are well-known world wide and are idolized for their individual skills and playstyles. ONIC PH has the chance to bag back-to-back international titles this coming M7 MLBB World Championship.

2) Selangor Red Giants OG Esports

SRG.OG, from Malaysia, once again shocked the world as they defeated the current world champions ONIC PH, to have a chance to defend their title as MSC world champions. They have made it quite difficult for Team Liquid PH in the grand finals of MSC 2025 but the difference was too wide to overcome.

Although, they only came 2nd to this year’s MSC where they weren’t favored at all, they still managed to go to the finals against the best in the world. OG Esports also recognized their talent, leading to a partnership that they forged going to EWC. They look strong heading into the summer’s international events as one of the best MLBB teams.

1) Team Liquid PH

Team Liquid PH surprised everybody with their amazing run in the regional tournament of the Philippines last Season 15. Spurred on by acquiring former world champion Oheb to their roster. Alongside Oheb is KarlTzy who never fails to amaze fans.

Team Liquid underperformed before they headed into the MPL PH S15. But day by day, they kept improving until getting a coveted  MSC slot in EWC 2025. Eventually, beating ONIC PH in the MPL PH S15 Grand Finals.

Now, Team Liquid is the best in the world, having house KarlTzy, the now proclaimed GOAT of MLBB. They definitely proved to the doubters that they are still in their prime. They are without a doubt, the top squad out of the best MLBB teams right now.

There’s loads of teams still to consider, but the are the top contenders right now! One of these MLBB teams could become our next World Champions in M7. There are more honorable mention of top contenders to consider for the world championship but they must face these 5 teams in order to make a name for themselves and prove to the world that anyone can become champion in MLBB.
