One of the biggest regions in MLBB esports is getting closer to its conclusion this season, this week we’ll see the MPL ID S16 Week 8 matches play out. Now we’re in October, we’re very close to the end of the regular season. With just a short gap to go before we reach the actual play offs! Where do things stand so far?

Ahead of Week 8 of the tournament, there is one team absolutely running away with it. ONIC. They’ve won every match so far and have amassed an amazing lead on the leaderboard. But beyond ONIC, the other teams are quite a bit closer. There’s still plenty to play for in ID for MLBB Esports this season. Not as much as the early weeks of the MLBB MPL S16 matches, but it’s definitely still competitive for the others.

Biggest Clashes in Week 8

What are the biggest matches in MPL ID S16 Week 8? ONIC, the team far and away dominating things in S16, is facing Bigetron and EVOS. The EVOS match up in particular could get interesting. ONIC’s record has been flawless this season, but if EVOS can finally take a match-up off of them, it would help them majorly. It’s unlikely though. Same goes for their match against Bigetron, who are just behind ONIC in the standings.

On the exact opposite end of the current standings, we’ve got Geek Fam ID up against Team Liquid ID. One good result won’t change things for Team Liquid, but to get a second behind them might go some ways towards lessening the fall this season.

Two of the teams closest on the standings right now is RRQ Hoshi and Natus Vincere. A good and bad result could have real repercussions here. Especially as MPL ID S16 Week 8 is getting very late in the tournament. RRQ have a difficult match against Dewa and Alter Ego though. Whereas Natus Vincere have an easier week against Geek Fam. These results could prove pivotal for staying out of the bottom third of the leaderboard.
