Wednesday Fortnite Skin Release Date Explained

When does the Wednesday Fortnite skin release? Since the last update, Fortnitemares collabs have taken center stage in Fortnite. Rather than doing something original for the event, we’ve had one dominated by crossovers! Kind of like the recent mini seasons, there’s collabs everywhere, in-game, the shop, instead of an original story. The next one up is the Wednesday Fortnite skin.

The Addams Family collab is focusing on this character alone, but it’s going to release very soon. Unlike the Jason skin or a few other collabs, it’s probably not coming to the game’s map. We won’t get Wednesday as an in-game boss, or a transformation like Ghostface. It seems to be something that’s not going to take over the map. However, it’s one of the more exciting item shop collabs. Since it was a bit of a bigger secret, it has gotten players a lot more excited than some o the other crossovers in Fortnitemares.

When will it release? The Wednesday Fortnite skin doesn’t have a set release date. However, leaks have given us a good idea of the schedule for Fortnitemares 2025. They’ve been right about release dates so far. So, when can we expect the Wednesday Fortnite skin release date?

Ahead of Fortnitemares 2025, we saw extensive leaks of a ton of collabs coming to the game. Most of Fortnitemares content leaked ahead of time, except for one! The Wednesday Addams Fortnite skin wasn’t found at all.

It seems when Epic wants to keep a secret (or not hand information directly to leakers as part of their promotion), they definitely still can. But once the Fortnitemares trailer dropped, one big Fortnite collab came as a big surprise. Although, it is something that’s been heavily requested as a Fortnite collab.

There’s a Wednesday Fortnite skin coming. Inspired by the older Addams Family as a whole, but clearly taking the most inspiration from the current Netflix series from Tim Burton. It features emotes from the show, a reactive element, and quite a cool design. Its had players awaiting the Wednesday Fortnite skin since it showed up in our first trailer.

This new collaboration features a design of the character matching this recent adaptation, but has some fun extra items thrown in too. These are all of the cosmetics we’re expecting with the Wednesday Fortnite skin:

As with any Fortnite collab, it’s not just a skin. We’re also getting some extra items like collabs, and a back bling. These are the items we’re expecting to come to the Item Shop:

While it’s just a skin, there’s some cool details for the Wednesday Fortnite skin.

One of the more unique elements is the Thing, the hand creature you can have on your shoulder. This is reactive! It adopts different poses depending on what’s happening. One shown off in the trailer that revealed the Wednesday Fortnite skin showed that it does a little finger gun as you’re aiming in-game! It’ll likely have other reactive uses too.

A lot of reactive skins change for elims, so it could have something happening there too! We’ll have to wait until the Wednesday Fortnite skin release date to see every interaction though.

The Emote also shows her doing the dance that became a meme in recent years. This wasn’t the most surprising inclusion for a Fortnite emote! But at least we’re still getting the most expected items in the Fortnite collab. There’s a second emote with a cello too!

Those are all of the items! It won’t be a huge bundle. But it does fill out a locker slot for the character.

Wednesday Fortnite Skin Release Date

The schedule for Fortnitmares according to leakers is following a specific pattern. We started with Scooby Doo, which gets a few days. Then the Ghostface Fortnite skin, then Jason Voorhees following by the final Scooby Doo skins. After that, we can probably expect the Wednesday Fortnite skin to arrive.

The Wednesday Fortnite Skin Release Date has been predicted for the next few days by some. However, we have leaked release dates for other major collabs coming first. If the Wednesday skin is waiting for the first round of collabs to wrap up, then we’re looking at a longer wait.

That would put its eventual release date as after October 18th. However, we don’t have the exact date confirmed just yet.

Sometimes around the 21st would line up with the other release dates so far. It would put it in the final week of Fortnitemares, alongside some other anticipated collabs and original Halloween Fortnite skins.

We won’t know for certain when the Wednesday Fortnite skin releases until it’s in the shop though! Epic can change up the item shop release dates quite a bit, even if leakers have been right so far.
