But some players might need to log in again. With coming to Xbox Game Pass, it’s going to be an opportunity for more people to join the premium tier of Fortnite, with Battle Passes, monthly skins, and V-Bucks for the store.

How Will the Timing Work?

With Fortnite Crew coming to Xbox Game Pass, players will start to get rewards once their accounts are linked. It seems like this will roll Crew into Game Pass in one of two ways. Your start date for a month of Crew will likely be the date when it first becomes available for current subscribers. So, their Crew access will start on November 18th.

In the future though, it’ll likely be the same date as when your Xbox Game Pass month refreshes. This will mean your month of Crew starts at the same time.

For each calendar month it’s active in, you receive the new Fortnite Crew Skin. But V-Bucks are only credited once per subscription period. Same for access to the Battle Pass, it cuts off when you’re not in the Fortnite Crew. It’s not tied to months like the actual items.

The system for losing some Crew Pack rewards at the end of the calendar month and others when the subscription ends is already a little complicated. Hopefully, the rollout with Fortnite Crew coming Xbox Games Pass keeps things simple. With the current Fortnite Season’s Battle Pass only lasting a month, it is a good time to get Crew rewards.

If you have Game Pass renewing mid-month, this could mean that each month of it gets you two different Fortnite Crew skins. But this only really comes into play for single month subscriptions. If you just have a rolling subscription, it won’t matter. A lot more people will start getting Crew Pack skins with Fortnite Crew coming to Xbox Game Pass.
