Where is the Simpsons house in Fortnite? Since the new season launched a ton of players have been jumping in to try and explore the new island. Well, if you can get away from the sweats for a second to explore it. If you want to track down the Simpsons house itself, there’s a simple location for it. It’s at the center of an entire POI this season.

The new Fortnite map is designed around the Springfield town from the Simpsons. But reimagined as a Fortnite map. The island is a fairly accurate recreation of Springfield. Although, making that show’s unique approach to geography work in a literal map is a little tricky. Nothing is in the same place week to week, beyond Moe’s bar being next to King Tut’s Music Shop. The map does a decent try though!

Plus, there’s factor of Duff being replaced by Slurp, and other Fortnite features around on the map. In palces it’s a mash-up between Fortnite and the Simpsons. Which means players are searching out their favorite Simpsons landmarks on the map. One of the biggest to find out is the Simpsons house in Fortnite though. It’s one of the best easter eggs this season. This is where you can find it and what’s there:

Where is the Simpsons House in Fortnite

One of the first places to visit in the new Fortnite mini season is the Simpsons house. This spot is where so many of the iconic scenes in Fortnite took place. While the town square and Power Plant’s spots on the map are obvious, individual houses are a little trickier. To get each of the homes you’ll recognize in Springfield onto the map, there’s a dedicated POI.

You can find the Simpsons House in Fortnite on the map in the Evergreen Terrace POI.

It’s a nice compromise. Most of these spots in the Simpsons are just vaguely in the sub-urbs. So putting them into a Salty Springs/Holly Hedges style POI is a good move. The Simpsons streets are more straight lines than squares, but with some creative layout they’ve got it working for the Simpsons House in Fortnite.

It’s a POI which is populated by a ton of different houses. The Simpsons has the most polish, but there’s more here. We’ve got Flanders house right next door. Then, there’s other houses around the neighbourhood. Including Skinner’s house and other characters. We’ve even got some NPCs here. Evil Homer can spawn too! But the bosses can be anywhere this season so that applies to all POIs.

If you’re looking for easter eggs though, the Simpsons House in Fortnite might have the most!

Sitting on the Couch

At launch, one little secret a ton of players found was the Simpsons couch. If you sat on it, it would cut to a different view of the game. Giving you a nice clean cinematic of your Fortnite skin watching the TV, in the couch gag pose. It’s a nice feature.

Players jumped to recreate the couch gag using different characters. Showing off all the crazy skins that are in Fortnite now. However, it had to get disabled!

Players who sat on the couch could sometimes run into a problem where they get made invisible afterwards. Epic disabled the feature to get it fixed. Hopefully, in a future Fortnite update, we see this get turned back on. So, players can recreate the couch gag at the Simpsons house again.

That isn’t the only easter egg dotted around the house though. You’ll also be able to find steamed hams in the house. These are Krusty Burgers which you can carry. It’s enough for a major heal since they stack up to six. It should make it a more attractive drop spot. It’s also a spot where you can see loads of easter eggs from the show, from the decoration of each room to the layout of the house.

Is the Simpsons House in Fortnite Accurate?

One of the most exciting things about the Simpsons house in Fortnite is how accurate it is! It’s great to explore if you’re a fan of the show. It’s a pretty good recreation of the one you remember. Even including weird and rarely seen rooms like the Den.

It’s not a one-to-one recreation though. There are quite few extra passageways that have been added. Likely to make the house flow a little better to Fortnite-scaled people. There’s also one big omission. The basement has been removed.

It’s not clear why. Epic has been using basements in buildings since the first Fortnite seasons. There’s nothing practical that means they can’t use basements in buildings. But for some reason Epic has removed it.

Outside of that, it’s pretty close. There’s even similar decorations in each of the rooms too. Great if you’ve ever wanted to see what it would look like if Hatsune Miku and Godzilla explored the Simpsons House.
