DC Fortnite Skins are back! After a long absence where Warner Bros pursued their own projects, players can once again use the most iconic DC characters in Fortnite. We’ve started to get new DC Comics Fortnite skins after an absence, but also some old classics cycled back in. According to leaks, a DC character will even play a major role in an upcoming season too.
What are all the DC skins in Fortnite? A lot of players likely associate the game more with Marvel. It’s Marvel that got two different seasons completely devoted to it.
It’s Marvel that occupied the last slot in the Battle Pass for new movies years on end. However, in its earlier days Fortnite was pretty evenly split. With plenty of Fortnite DC skins showing up too. While the Disney investment in Epic means more Marvel seasons a certainty, we’re getting new DC styles too. These are showing up in Fortnite news quite a bit now!
These are the skins we’ve seen so far and what new skins we expect to show up soon.
There are loads of DC Fortnite skins, so we’ll break them down just a little bit. Into Batman, and then… pretty much the rest! Like a lot of things DC, it’s the Dark Knight that gets the most attention. These are all of the DC Skins in Fortnite:

The Batman skins are the biggest batch. There are loads. We’ve got skins of Batman’s friends, the rogue’s gallery… and quite a few different Batmen to choose from. Surprisingly, we’ve had quite a lot of different versions of Batman, but only one directly from a film. There’s still plenty of potential for more Batman skins to come to the game too in future seasons of the game.
These are all of the Batman skins we’ve seen so far:

Next, we have another DC strand that’s actually had a fair few skins. The Teen Titans. This is also an area where we could see more in the future.

Finally, we have the rest. Most of these are from marginally different franchises, but since pretty much all of them only have a single skin it makes sense to group them up! Out of these, we’re expecting another name here to get a second version quite soon. These are the remaining DC Skins in Fortnite:
DC Fortnite skins were pretty common for the early seasons, we even got Gotham on the map before Marvel had a full take over. So, what happened? Warner Bros had a change of heart.
The media conglomerate that owns DC has lurched around in terms of strategy. For a while, they decided using games like Fortnite with its huge player base, esports tournaments, and fans, was the wrong direction. Instead, they should make their own games to use their characters as skins in, and keep all of the money instead of part of it. They made some ill-fated attempts with titles like Suicide Squad, and MultiVersus which was quite fun when it was actually online.
It seemed these titles didn’t have the results they were hoping for though. Warner Bros has changed ownership a ton since and their skins have clearly had a change of policy. Their own games are gone, and their skins are back in the game. Both their superheroes and other franchises, like returning the Dune skin that’s become a favorite with the top Fortnite players. This also means we’re getting more DC Fortnite skins.

With Warner Bros attempts at their own live service games either dead or in the gutter, they’re going full throttle at using Fortnite again! Even more successful games like Mortal Kombat have been stripped back in favor of new Fortnite collabs instead. The next one up, is going to be Superman.
We already have Supe in the DC Fortnite skins. He originally appeared in his most iconic form for the aliens season in Chapter 2. This new skin will tie into the new movie, coming out this Summer. We can expect the new DC skins in Fortnite to more closely resemble this new version of the character. We’re also apparently due a Mythic for Superman! Since he has so many different powers, we don’t know which it will be. A Superman combat kit or flight kit wouldn’t go a miss though.
Beyond this, things are wide open for more DC Fortnite skins! We could get comic styles of more characters as well as future tie ins for other media. Maybe it’ll even reach beyond the normal DC characters and include interesting picks like Watchmen too.
And stay up to date on all the latest trends in esports
