What are the best Fortnite crossovers? There’s been so many at this point. The game is nearly entirely collabs now. With crossovers being the main content in most updates, spreading all over the battle pass. Kind of replacing Fortnite’s own identity. What are the best Fortnite crossovers though? Looking through the biggest ones added to the game in the past, there’s some clear stand outs.

These are the top Fortnite collabs ranked. The crossovers which have proven the most exciting for the game, of the most important for its development.

10. Huggy Wuggy

Not all Fortnite collabs are family friendly are fit into a standard shape. This one showed that pretty much any character could get put into Fortnite. It didn’t really matter what shape they are, if they were a bit much for the platform, or really anything else. This is one of the biggest Fortnite crossovers we’ve ever seen.

9. Cowboy Bebop

There are tons of Fortnite anime skins in the game already. Cowboy Bebop is unique even in the list though. It’s one of the Fortnite collabs which was pretty unexpected. Cowboy Bebop was a series, followed on with a movie, but a limited anime. Not quite the same thing as those ongoing series the game normally gets. However, Cowboy Bebop still got a few skins and other featured items.

It’s one of the most polished Fortnite anime collabs we’ve seen and deserves a spot as one of the best Fortnite crossovers. Even if you see skins from Battle Shonen in the game more often.

One of the biggest series in Fortnite cosmetics has been the icon Series, where Epic introduces real people into the game. The first streamer to make it in was Ninja. This is where Fortnite collabs began to celebrate people mainly known, because of Fortnite.

7. DC

Fortnite has had a load of collabs with Superheroes, it’s probably the biggest category. But DC skins are fewer in number than their rival stable of heroes. These skins were some of the earliest to really take over Fortnite though. With Batman getting a themed POI, a whole different design just for Gotham on the map, items, and more. Since then, we’ve had a ton more Fortnite collabs with DC but it has gotten pretty expansive now.

6. Star Wars

This is one of the best Fortnite collabs, and in terms of impact it’s hard to argue with it. Star Wars X Fortnite comes back every single year. Even getting a mini season in Chapter 6.

We’ve not got more skins than there are memorable characters and the content could replace the entire game. Star Wars has even had exclusive Fortnite live events. Although, being so overpowering has meant that a lot of players are fairly sick of it. It might be one of the best Fortnite crossovers, but it’s hard to miss it.

You can’t really get away from Fortnite Star Wars, and it takes over each and every year. After the larger Galactic Battle, this could be a Fortnite collab that might be best taking a year of. Even as the Star Wars movies have stopped for years after declining interest, Fortnite inexplicably plows ahead with this one.

5. Hatsune Miku

Hatsune Miku is a Fortnite Festival Icon and one that’s become an ever-present sight in Fortnite lobbies. In terms of themeing, she’s one of the Fortnite collabs which was an obvious inclusion. A digital native singer, she was a perfect fit for Festival.

4. Dragon Ball

One of the biggest anime collabs in Fortnite has been Dragon Ball. This was one of our first inclusions and it has only gotten bigger. We’ve had tons of waves of skins including everything from villains to new side characters.

Dragon Ball is a major franchise in Fortnite outside of that, getting items too. We’ve even seen creative maps where you can watch the series on a loop. It’s one of the best Fortnite crossovers that we always seem to get new skins for. Even as the series takes a break following the death of its creator, and subsequent rights battles.

3. Street Fighter

This is a smaller Fortnite collab, but one that represents how they can take on a life of their own. Fortnite X Street Fighter was a few waves of skins. bringing in some of the most iconic Fortnite skins.

These went on to get a bit of a second life. They didn’t return to the items hop for a few years after the release of S 6. Which made players start to think they were rare, which made them want them even more. The Street Fighter skins have come back since but has always had an elevated importance to players thanks to their absence.

2. Simpsons

One of the Fortnite collab big enough to get its own season was the Simpsons. Which took over for the minis reason between Chapter 6 and 7. This one came with an entirely new map, the whole of Springfield only here for a month. We had tons of Simpsons skins and easter eggs too. It was one of the most lovingly recreated collabs we’ve seen. As a few weeks long, it’s one of the best Fortnite crossovers we’ve had recently.

1. Marvel

The biggest Fortnite collab is also pretty much the first, Marvel. for some reason this has been the biggest Fortnite collaboration. It began with the Infinity Gauntlet gameplay added in to promote Marvel films. But since then, we’ve had countless Marvel Fortnite skins, and even two full length seasons.

At this point, Marvel has the same over-exposure problem as Star Wars. but with most of its characters already in the game, we’re looking at doubles and triples of characters added as skins in different outfits to re-sell again. Without Fortnite Marvel skins, most of the best Fortnite crossovers wouldn’t have ever happened though. It’s definitely deserving of a top spot as one the best Fortnite collabs.
