Visa issues strike again, this time for Overwatch League’s expansion team, the Chengdu Hunters.

Visa issues strike again. This time for Overwatch League’s expansion team, the Chengdu Hunters, as DPS Zhang 'YangXiaoLong' Zhihao had his visa rejected.

While the squad headed to Los Angeles ahead of the season two premiere on February 14, they had to leave one member behind in China. DPS player Zhang ‘YangXiaoLong’ Zhihao has apparently had his visa rejected according to the team’s Weibo account, as reported earlier by Dextero.

Last year, the Shanghai Dragons faced visa issues when applications delayed the arrival of mid-season pick-ups Kim “Geguri” Se-yeon, Lee “Fearless” Eui-seok, Chon “Ado” Gi-hyeon and He “Sky” Junjian. It took more than a month from the time the players were signed until they were able to join their team in Los Angeles.

Hopefully, the Hunters will have more luck as there are only three weeks to go before the start of the season. The Chengdu Hunters will have to quickly to untangle the visa issues so that YangXiaoLong can join them for their debut match. The Hunters face the Guangzhou Charge on February 15.
