The 2025 LEC Spring Playoffs are coming our way as the top six teams from Europe will be squaring off to determine the two representatives at the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational. Here’s everything you need to know about the playoff bracket ahead of the second international tournament of the season.
The 2025 season might mark a new era where G2 is no longer the leading European representative, as Karmine Corp (KC) and Fnatic (FNC) continue to showcase higher consistency in the latest LEC Spring regular split. After the single round robin, KC topped the standings with an 8-1 record, closely followed by FNC, which lost one additional game.
Despite the format change compared to the Winter Split and the transition to Bo3 matches, the European region has more or less maintained the same rankings, with a clear top four (KC, FNC, KOI, and G2) followed by some playoff contenders (GX, TH, VIT, BDS), and the two bottom teams (SK and RGE).
GIANTX and Team Heretics are the two remaining teams in playoff and they will be placed in the lower bracket.
The top two of the LEC Spring Playoffs will be heading to the Mid-Season Invitational and will also be invited to the Esports World Cup, which will take place later this summer in July.
The full match schedule is yet to be confirmed and will be finalized once the top six teams are locked in.

Based on the current form seen in the LEC Spring Split, the fight for the title is expected to be between Karmine Corp and Fnatic, the two most consistent teams and with the highest potential.

G2 Esports and Movistar KOI are following suit, with the former having higher chances of pulling off a strong run if they are able to raise their bar a bit. While only fourth in the regular season, G2’s potential could be higher than any team in the league.
The last two seeds can create some upsets, but it will be a tough challenge for them to make a deep run from the lower bracket.
