League of Legends esports personality and former professional player Marc “Caedrel” Lamont has announced his addition to the Red Bull Gaming family.

Caedrel joins Red Bull and is greeted by the legendary Faker
The announcement came on Sunday, May 4, directly from his own official social media accounts. While announcements are pretty common in the space, Red Bull went beyond by posting a video on Caedrel’s own subreddit, Pedro’s Peepos, where several Red Bull Athletes welcomed the streamer into the Red Bull family.
Aside from the likes of Caps and SkewMond from G2 Esports, T1 mid laner and League of Legends world champion Faker also greeted Caedrel. Additionally, the video included Twitch streamer Ludwig “Ludwig” Ahgren and F1 world champion Max Verstappen.
Red Bull broadens the Gaming family with Caedrel
Red Bull is known for having a large presence in the gaming and esports space, sponsoring several esports teams such as T1, Karmine Corp, Ninjas in Pyjamas, G2 Esports, and Fnatic, among others. Moreover, the drink brand is an official partner for Riot Games’ esports competitions, VALORANT (VCT) EMEA and League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC). Red Bull also hosts its own esports events, such as the year-end showmatch Red Bull League of Its Own, with a total of six different game titles featured in 2024 (League of Legends, VALORANT, Age of Empires, Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6 and Apex Legends).

Caedrel will join the likes of Karmine Corp owner Kamel ‘Kameto’ Kebir, G2 Esports professional player Michaela ‘mimi’ Lintrup, and Starcraft 2 champion Riccardo ‘Reynor’ Romiti, as one of the leading ambassadors for the brand.
Starting this year, the esports personality has been managed by UK-based gaming agency Yume Talent, which is managed by Mitsouko Anderson. Aside from Caedrel, Anderson also manages other key esports personalities in the European scene, such as Eefje ‘Sjokz’ Depoortere and Laure “Bulii” Valée.
Caedrel’s rise in the esports
Caedrel began its esports career as a mid laner back in 2015 before shifting towards the jungle position. In 2019 and 2020, he played as the starting player for Excel Esports. Despite not making it to Worlds in those two years, Caedrel was known for his communicative approach which laid the foundation for his shift towards streaming.
Before that, however, Caedrel worked as an esports commentator on the European broadcast team and later in international tournaments.
His personality, knowledge about the game, and previous professional career as a player made him stand out from the rest, as Caedrel is often able to bring high-level breakdowns as well as humorous banter in his streams, catering to a large audience in the League of Legends community.

In the past two years, Caedrel has fully transitioned to streaming full-time and regularly co-streams matches from the major LoL esports leagues, such as the LEC and LCK, as well as international competitions like Worlds and Mid-Season Invitational.
This year, he also made headlines when he founded his own esports team, Los Ratones, putting together various famous League streamers, including Tim ‘Nemesis’ Lipovšek, Simon ‘Thebausffs’ Hofverberg, and Carl Martin Erik ‘Rekkles’ Larsson.
The team recently won the Northern League of Legends Championship (NLC) during the Winter split and dominated the competition in the first European Masters of the 2025 season.
