Tomorrow will be the start of MPL Indonesia Season 15 Playoffs, where 6 teams are battling it out for the last 2 spots off to MSC 2025 as well as the coveted title of MPL ID S15 Champions.
Let’s take a closer look at all 6 teams and check out their chances in taking the crown.
All Teams at the MPL ID S15 Playoffs
The teams that qualified for the MPL ID S15 Playoffs are the following:
- RRQ Hoshi
- Geek Fam ID
- ONIC
- Bigetron by Vitality (formerly known as Bigetron Esports)
- Alter Ego
- Team Liquid ID
These are the exact same 6 teams that qualified during last season’s playoffs, where Team Liquid ID won the entire thing. This time however, they are at the bottom of the list, barely making it to the next round.
They will start the playoffs up against one of the biggest challenges they have in the league, ONIC. On the other side of the bracket, we have Bigetron by Vitality taking on Alter Ego for the play-ins of the stage. Whoever loses in the two matches will immediately bow out of the contention of the title, as well as the chance to represent Indonesia in MSC.
Waiting in the Double Elimination Stage is the top 2 seeds of MPL ID S15, RRQ Hoshi and Geek Fam ID. Who do we think will win this season’s MPL for Indonesia?

MPL ID S15 Playoffs Predictions – Day 1
With ONIC’s form in the last 2 weeks of MPL ID, they are poised to once again beat Team Liquid ID in a Best of 5 Match, similar to their previous tournament, Snapdragon Pro Series S6. Team Liquid ID’s performance in the last week of MPL was not favorable to them as well, coming in the playoffs tomorrow. We can also say that Team Liquid ID’s kryptonite is the organization itself as they have been bested by both PH and ID team of ONIC. The series might extend to a full 5 game series but ONIC might find a way to still come out on top.
Bigetron by Vitality on the other hand should, on paper, win against Alter Ego unless they get in their heads again, similar to what happened at the lower bracket finals of last season. Alter Ego did get stronger this season, especially having their new Jungler Rinee come in to surprise all of the teams with his stellar performance throughout the season. It might be a tossup but it really depends on the condition of the players tomorrow during the day.
Predictions of Day 2
ONIC and Geek Fam ID has a history of always meeting in the playoffs. It usually ends with either Geek Fam ID taking it to the full 5 games and winning or ONIC dominating the series. In this case, ONIC might have the upper hand as they have established their new roster and tested it internationally. The only thing we can count on for Geek Fam is their surprise picks, especially for their Roamer, “Big Brain” Baloyskie, to weave his way to the Upper Bracket Finals and beat ONIC.
RRQ Hoshi would definitely win against any of Bigetron by Vitality and Alter Ego with their current form this season. Regardless of the new Gold Laner Toyy coming in to fill in the big shoes of the legendary player Skylar, RRQ Hoshi proved to be the strongest, rebuilding the Kingdom once again to reign in Indonesia.
Predictions of Day 3
RRQ would definitely win against ONIC in their current form as their chemistry is more established than ONIC’s current roster. This may go 3-1 in favor of RRQ Hoshi but again it depends on the results of Day 2, where one team brings their momentum to this day’s match.
Geek Fam ID would also win against Bigetron by Vitality in this case as they have more ways to play a best of 5 series while Bigetron by Vitality is still finding their strides in the tournament with their newly built roster for the season.
MPL ID S15 Predictions Predictions Day 4 and 5
The lower bracket finals are in a Best of 7 format. If it’s ONIC vs Geek Fam ID, it’s a bit of a toss up, but ONIC would have the upper hand given their history in the tournament.
RRQ would then win to whichever team would go to the Grand Finals against them, still maintaining their composure and status as the top team in the league.
These are just speculations on what would happen tomorrow until the Grand Finals on Sunday, June 15, 2025. The final 2 teams in the Grand Finals will also go to MSC 2025 x EWC in Riyadh as the representatives of Indonesia. Tomorrow’s matches will begin at 2:00 PM GMT+8 for ONIC vs Team Liquid ID, followed by Bigetron by Vitality vs Alter Ego at 7:15 PM GMT+8.
