Winter Miku Fortnite Skin Shown Off in Winterfest Trailer

One of the most anticipated skins this month is Winter MIku, a new variation of the vocaloid coming to Fortnite. It’s supposed to be part of the Fortnite Winterfest 2025 update, a holiday event to close out the year. This skin has been talked about in leaks for a while now, but it’s finally making its way into the live game. The skin has even been shown off early in the Winterfest trailer. Snow Miku right next to a few of the other holiday collabs coming.

A day ahead of the Fortnite update that’ll start Winterfest, Epic has released a trailer for it. It shows off the Winterfest Cabin we see most years in-game, where players can open presents and get free cosmetics. That’s returning this time, to add a bit more circumstance to unwrapping the free gifts again. Plus, There’s a handful of free skins coming, but the Winter Miku is going to be a bit different.

There’s quite a few Fortnite collabs which will be coming over the Winterfest period. Harry Potter has been the most notable so far, apparently Home Alone is coming too. But there will also be a new version of Miku coming too.

Winter Miku Fortnite Skin

One of the earliest leaks for the Fortnite Winterfest event was the Winter Miku skin. Players have known a new version of the Vocaloid Fortnite Icon was planned to come as part of the holiday event, with the Snow Miku design seeming the most likely.

We already have two versions of Miku. There’s the standard one which originated in the item Shop, and the alternative design which was part of the Festival Pass. However, this winter some of the Festival Icon Skins are getting new holiday skins. This includes Sabrina Carpenter, but also the Winter Miku. After much speculation, the design for the skin has been unveiled in the new Winterfest trailer.

The trailer shows off some other Christmas skins coming, and a Winter color scheme for Miku. This skin uses an all-blue and white version of Miku. A fun alternative look for the character. They might even blend into the white Winterfest map a little more too! When can we expect this Snow Miku Fortnite skin to release?

Winter Miku Release Date

The Winter Miku Fortnite skin is going to be a part of the holiday event, but the skins won’t all drop at once. The first release is supposed to be Harry Potter, and Winter Miku will come on December 19th!

Just a couple of days until the Snow Miku release. Then, we’ll get Bleach X Fortnite, this is a much longer collab which will probably stick around. Along with possibly getting an item in-game too. Eventually, the Santa Sabrina Carpenter skin on December 22nd. Snow Miku will probably stick around for a while too.

All of these skins will be in the item shop this time. The free skins will work a bit differently. The free Winterfest skins will be unlocked on specific days in the break, with all of them unlocked by the end and players free to choose from the smaller gifts. If players want to unlock Winter Miku though, they’ll need to spend V-Bucks in the item shop. Although initial leaks thought it might be, this isn’t a free skin.
