Fortnite X Toy Story Gets Teaser and Skins Confirmed

Toy Story Fortnite skins have been confirmed by Epic in a recent update. Along with the next update adding modes like Fortnite Arenas, we’re expecting these skins to arrive too. It’ll be one of the most anticipated collabs but what can we actually expect? Thanks to leakers, we have a decent idea of what’s coming.

This new collab is going to be the next to feature in the Fortnite Showdown series. An Item Shop series of releases which feature two sets of skins from one franchise. With duelling tournaments, to see which wins the showdown. Like the Showdown mechanic in-game, it’s a head-to-head which ends in both sides content being available anyway. This time it’s going to be Buzz v Zurg. But we’re expecting we’re more items too.

Toy Story Fortnite Skins Coming Soon

One of the more anticipated batches of Fortnite Disney skins are arriving soon. Fortnite X Toy Story. This will be a major Fortnite crossover with one of Pixar’s most iconic characters, but what skins are actually coming? According to leakers, we can expect these characters to feature:

• Buzz lightyear Skin
• Emperor Zurg Skin
• Alen Sidekick
• Pizza Planet Truck
• 2 Backblings
• 2 Pickaxes
• 2 Emotes
• 1 Glider

That’s everything we’re expecting with Toy Story Fortnite skins. It’s weird to get Buzz and Zurg, but no Woody. Although, it does fit the Showdown theme better. It also opens the door for Woody to arrive in the future. These are all characters who can handle Fortnite guns without any problems too.

We don’t know exactly what the other items are going to be. Once the skins are in the game properly, we should see dataminers get a better idea of what the extra items will look like.

When Does Toy Story Come to Fortnite?

This week, Epic has added a teaser screen for Fortnite X Toy Story to the game. Sitting in the latest news part of the home screen, players have confirmation this is coming. But when will it actually arrive? We’re expecting more information very soon.

The next Fortnite update is arriving tomorrow. April 9th. That’s when the game is getting Arenas added. However, other elements will be added at the same time. We’re expecting this to be when the Toy Story Fortnite skins get added. Although, it isn’t clear if they’ll be in the shop at that time.

Until the Item Shop actually resets, we don’t tend to get firm release dates. Epic adds skins to the files ready to go live, but they can sit in the game for a little while. Lately, they’ve been releasing weekly social media videos advertising each day’s new additions. But these haven’t happened since the Fortnite layoffs, so we might not get one for these skins.
