The Fortnite Simpsons mini season has felt pretty quick, after a short few weeks it’s nearly over. We’ll see the Fortnite Zero Hour live event to close things out! The last season left the old map with a mini event, but we’re expecting something a lot bigger for the next Fortnite season end date. A whole story event to close out one chapter and start another one back up.
Lately, the end of season events has become the biggest in Fortnite. It’s these events that try to wrap up a year’s worth of storylines and introduce another one. Although, sometimes that storyline is as involved as characters jumping into a portal from one story to another. This year’s final Fortnite live event promises to be a bigger conclusion though. Revisiting the giant squid we saw at the end of the last season and wrapping up the current plotline.
Since we’re approaching the final updates of the mini season, some of the event content is even leaking now. If you want to follow along with everything, this is when you can catch the Fortnite Zero Hour event. Plus, everything we’ve learnt about it so far:
The Fortnite Zero Hour live event is our next big occasion in-game. These live events are always highlights on the calendar. It’s where we get to see all the players entering the game at the same time, to experience something together. The Fortnite live events in the past have been pretty varied. This time we’re expecting a more concentrated Fortnite lore drop as part of the event.
It’ll close of what’s been going on in Chapter 6 and begin Chapter 7. When can you catch the Zero Hour Fortnite event live event though?

At the end of the Fortnite Simpsons mini season, we’re getting a whole live event to move into Chapter 7! The event is scheduled to take place on November 29th. That’s when the Fortnite season ends, so we’ll likely be going into downtime straight afterwards. The time will be the same for every Fortnite server region too. Although, it’ll be at a more or less convenient time depending on where it is you actually live.
The Fortnite Zero Hour Start time is 2 PM ET. In other time zones, this is how it works out:

That’s the start time for Fortnite Zero Hour, but the doors open to load into a lobby a little early. This time, it’s forty minutes early! The last Fortnite live event was a bit of a mess in this way. Players got there early, but the mode didn’t allow you to actually enter the lobby until very late. There should be less confusing with early doors this time.
The lobby opens up early to let players make sure they get their slot in a lobby. In the past, the live events have been over-subscribed. With more Fortnite players trying to get in than the servers can handle. This time we’re seeing some stress tests for the Fortnite servers ahead of time. But it’s still possible we’ll see server issues, so players will have to get there early if they want to make sure they attend Fortnite Zero Hour.

So far, we’ve seen a few early hints at what’s coming from Fortnite leaks. Right now, a lot of the leaks are about what we’re expecting in the Fortnite Chapter 7 release. But dataminers have found some parts of the event early too. These are bigger spoilers, so proceed at your risk if you want the Fortnite Zero Hour content to be surprising once it happens.
Leakers are already talking about one element of the Fortnite live event. It’ll supposedly contain loads of different Fortnite collabs. Up to 25 different ones. The Simpsons element is obvious, given the game is in a mini season right now. The art for Fortnite Zero Hour shows some others though. The DeLorean, Scooby Doo van, not to mention the Kaiju transformations we kept getting last Chapter. All of them will be involved in Fortnite Zero Hour in some capacity it seems.
One part of the Fortnite Zero Hour leaks that’s spoiling a whole movement in the event is the giant Homer. Dataminers have already found this animation.
We’ll see a giant Homer emerge from the sea around the current Fortnite island. He’ll then spit a piece of the Zero Point towards the island! It might be this that begins to move us into the next island for the Fortnite live event. Since it was a Zero Point accident that started the Simpsons mini season.

The Zero Point beginning this island has already given us a bit more story content about where this island came from. The last few have been as simple as going through a portal, so it’s nice a bit more effort is being put into the game’s backstory once again. we’ll have to see what else happens in the Fortnite Zero Hour leaks though. We’re expecting the Seven to reoccur next season, so they could pop up early here.
