Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 has kept one of our previous Fortnite bosses, with some changes, and introduced some brand-new ones too. Tracking them down in each game will mean you get a special medallion along with the loot in their vaults. Where can you find each of the current Fortnite boss locations?

Where are the Fortnite Boss Locations in C6 S2?

As of Chapter 6 Season 2, there’s been some big changes to how the Bosses work. The current batch of bosses is following in C6 S1’s footsteps of being more subdued and more spread around each game’s pace. However, we’ve also got a more random approach. They aren’t really making one of the Fortnite landing spots significantly better than the others.

Each of them now spawns in a different space each game. However, there are limited spots for them to appear. Meaning you can track down the Fortnite Boss Locations each game if you want. This is how the Fortnite Boss locations work and how to ensure you get what you’re after every time.

Fletcher Kane

The new Boss and most interesting at the start of each game is Fletcher Kane. He’s the new character at the top of the Battle pass this season and you can head for him right at the start of the game. In previous seasons, every boss was available like this but right now, you can only head to 1 straight from landing. So, it’s likely to be a popular drop spot.

This boss does move around a little bit and isn’t tied to any single POI. However, it isn’t entirely random. He’s attached to one of the new vaults. At the start of the game, you can find the character at one of these Fortnite boss locations at the moment:

  • Masked Meadows
  • Crime City
  • The Train
  • Seaport City

That’s where each of the new Fortnite vault locations are, and possibly where this boss can spawn. At the start of the game, you’ll be able to see on the map an icon of the medallion – this marker lets you know where it’ll be. You won’t have to drop in and wait to see where the boss appears. Instead, you can check when on spawn island and adjust your drop spot depending on where he appears. It’s pretty visible next to the Vault marker.

The Fletcher Kane boss does move around, but maybe his weirdest spawn point is the train. He isn’t just jogging alongside next it. The boss won’t spawn in upon the game starting. Instead, you have to start cracking a vault to get him to appear. So, with the train, he appears once the train has been stopped. Which should make it easier to track him down.

What Does Fletcher Kane Drop?

The Fletcher Kane Boss moves around, but what exactly can you unlock if you take him down? His loot is unique and some of the best items in the game – you can get your hands on an Unstoppable Medallion.

This is a Medallion which is closest compared to Nitro. You get a speed boost and you can knockback opponents by running into them. It doesn’t break builds like Nitro though. The medallion is currently the only way to get this effect.

He also drops a Mythic Mammoth Pistol. It’s like the normal one, with the Mythic stat boosts, but it has two shots. Not a big boost for most weapons but the Mammoth pistol is very different with a second chance. This gun might end up being in a lot of good clips from the upcoming Fortnite tournaments this season. Both worth taking on a boss for.

Shogun X – Fortnite Boss Location

The next boss is a returning one, kind of. Shogun X is back, but his model has changed in a minor way. The Fortnite boss location for this one is the same as it was last time. It’s the rift in island that comes in the last few circles. You can’t find the smaller ones wandering the island anymore, but the big guy is still there.

The location for the Shogun X Boss is just as random as last time. You can’t really bank on it showing up. by the time you reach this part of the game though, the circle is pretty small. essentially, if you’ve got a form of mobility, you’ll be able to reach the island in time as long as you’re in circle.

The big danger is the fight itself and attracting other players. Shogun goes down easy if you dodge his attacks. Although, if the best Fortnite trios in the game turn up, most players have occasionally been forced to back off the island.

The location for this one is even helpful for tactics later. Controlling the island means you have great mobility or final circles, and the highest ground possible to poke at other players. Great now the sniper is back, but it’s limited to the first player who reaches the Fortnite boss locations.

What Does Shogun Drop?

The fight for Shogun X is the same as last season but the loot is all changed. You’ll now get the mythic Holo Twister, probably the best gun in the game right now. Then the second new Medallion and this one has a weird effect.

Whenever you use “self-heal” items, you’ll pop a shield bubble Jr. It applies to Chug Jugs, Med Kits, Shield potions, but not splashes or other similar health restoring items. This has obvious utility in Zero Build, it’s a free heal. However, in builds it’s a bit more difficult. Most players are fairly good at building themselves cover once they heal so it shouldn’t be as necessary. The big thing to keep in mind is how quickly the Holo is going through builds right now. The shield bubbles will still be useful since your builds don’t last as long as they used to.

One trick to keep in mind too is the Chug Jug. Now you can sip it 10 health at a time. One is also dropped at this Fortnite boss locations. If you space them out right, you’ll have easy access to at least 20 shield bubbles. If you don’t waste the Chug on healing back up, this should be enough for cover in the rest of the game.

Those are the two Fortnite boss locations so far! The last two full-length seasons have both seen boss transformations added though, so things could change. With These two at the opening, they’ll likely be the two fights still in Fortnite esports for the season. So, keep in mind some players will have access to the overpowered boss loot in most games.
